At the Repgong Tamshe Seminar, Geshé Changkya Gendün Trashii of Rongwo Monastery explained the meaning of Tamshé combined with its historical background. He also provided a brief introduction on the relationship between Tamshé and people's lives. He emphasized the importance of Tamshé to Tibetan culture and traditions as a whole. In particular, he reminded everyone that Tamshé is an important part of folk culture and pointed out examples. In his conclusion, he stressed that religious people as well as non-religious people, especially the new generation of young people, must pay special attention to the traditions and customs that are deteriorating, and urges their study, emphasizing the importance of recording and documenting them.
