At the Repgong Tamshé Seminar, Tsering Dorje briefly introduces the purpose and the desperation of organizing such a seminar. He then pointed out deteriorating Tibetan traditions and customs, particularly how with the passage of time many people have been ignoring certain traditional customs and habits. Furthermore,  he argued it is not the sole responsibility of the educated to protect and preserve those deteriorating traditions and customs, but that every individual carries that responsibility. Consequently, he introduced methods for preserving such traditions and cultural inheritance both by government officials and the public.
