At the Repgong Tamshé Seminar, Lugyal from the China Village confessed that he had never attended such a meeting. In particular, he neither studied folk culture nor he is an expert. However, due to his personal interest, he loved folk culture out of curiosity and he has traveled to many places around Repgong. As result, he briefly described some traditions that have already disappeared. Accordingly, he also compared some of the old traditions and customs with modified modern traditions and customs, especially the influence of modernization and outer forces on the traditions that eventually lead to deterioration. He ended his speech with a “Tonshé”.
