At the Repgong Tamshé Seminar, Gyalu from Luchu village agrees with the other speakers. However, he thinks it is not only traditional culture and customs that need to be preserved protected but also animals, mineral resources, forests, and the environment as a whole need to be protected and developed as well. Furthermore, he emphasized that traditions and customs such as wearing Tibetan robes, Losar celebrations, traditional songs, and dances needed to be properly introduced to the new generation, yet they should also be free to join basketball teams and other modern activities. He encouraged and called out everyone to do their best in tradition and cultural preservation.
