Wangmo learned this song when she was young, from her mother as well as from her time as the dance leader for the Chojam consecration. There is no clear information on who composed this song, nor its origins. As most Bhutanese are familar with this song, there is little worry that the song's popularity will decline. This song, which uses the symbol of the peacock, is considered both a song of praise and a love song.
