The song “Feather of the Indian Peacock” talks about a peacock that visits the realms of the four directions. In the lyrics, the peacock is asked where he went. He replies that he went to the East, South, West and North. In the East, he met Vajrasattva; in the South, he met Ratnasambhava; in the West, he met Amitabha and in the North, he met Amoghasiddhi. In essence, song explains the sacred and holy nature of peacock feathers, for it says the peacock has acquired them after meeting with the enlightened lords of the four directions.
