Minjur from Borongmang village in Sakteng Gewog (county), sings a Boedra song called "Marmar". The lyrics of the song were composed in the local language of the Sakteng community. The song aspires to have unity with a lover from the same village. Minjur also used some metaphors such as a vase and a feather of a peacock; in Buddhist culture these two elements are always interconnected. The peacock feather is considered as naturally very beautiful and the vase is indispensible to the feather that symbolizes purity, because the peacock is considered an auspicious bird and it was used in the Buddhist purification ceremony.
