Video Overview
The song Son, Do Not Go to the Eastern Mountain! expresses a conversation between a mother and her son. The son is a trader that constantly travels around the country and to Tibet. The mother tries to convince her son not to leave in the light of the dangers of travelling to faraway lands. There is Mithun in the east, heat in the south, large rivers in the north, big trees in the west, huge snow covers in Tibet, and liquor in the center. To console his mother, the son responds by coming up with solutions to all the threats: slat and rope for Mithun, medicine for the heat, construction of iron bridges over large rivers, an axe to cut down the huge trees and so on.
