Video Overview
A local elder, Jampel, gives historic background information on Golok Khanggen and the four tribes of Barzhi. The community started when fifty to sixty farmer families migrated to Golok three to four generations ago. Jampel introduces the leaders of that time, how they settled and began herding, the challenges they faced, their relationships with neighboring nomads, their mutual support, and the development of their traditions and customs. He compares past and present nomad lands, the changes in sheepherding, the past and present conditions and customs, the changes in their living, diet, dress, and other extraordinary and unique traditions of Golok Barzhi people.

七十岁的甲华介绍了果洛康更和巴一四个部落的历史背景：三四代人前，玛曲的五六十户农民迁入果洛的经历；当时的领导人以及他们如何定居和开始畜牧业，他们面临的挑战，他们与邻近游牧民族的关系和相互支持，以及他们的传统和习俗及其发展。此外，他还比较了过去和现在的游牧土地，放牧羊的变化和生活方式，过去和现在的条件和习俗，他们的生活以及他们的饮食和穿衣的变化，以及其他不同寻常和独特的传统。
