Procession Drum

Banga is a drum used in processions during receptions or other celebrations. The person beating this drum is often the first in the procession line. The drum is made of round wooden body and animal hide and beaten with a wooden stick. In the past, the person who is assigned the task of beating this drum would be often a slave or of low origin.
