Scary Story

Some of the stories in Bhutanese folklore are horror stories about frightening experience, about zombie, spirits of the dead, non-human spirits and ferocious beasts. Although Bhutanese believe in the existence of ghosts and other terrible beings and thus a lot of horror stories are construed as real stories, some stories are considered fictitious and made up for the sake and are often told in order to discipline children.
