Wealth Management

Wealth management is a skill which Bhutanese men and women take with seriousness. The leading man and woman of the house would generally mobilize and control the resources with the understanding of family's economy for the whole year. As people generally did not have cash and also could not avail even basic commodities from shops, they stocked their resources to last through the season. Family properties including estates, livestock, structures and expensive clothes and jewelleries are also maintained with care. In terms of giving, people would gauge the appropriate prices and gifts for the time and context. People also stock things to be sold when the prices are better.
