Pradhan

Pradhan language is the same as Newari language which is also known as Nepal bhāṣā. It belong to the Tibeto-Burman family and is spoken by the Newari citizens in Nepal and some people in Sikkim. It is the language of the Newar people who are indigenous inhabitants of the Kathmandu valley and its surrounding. It was the administrative language in Nepal until the 18th centuryal when it was replaced by Nepali. There are a few native speakers of Newari language or Pradhan in Bhutan.
