Yak skin bag
This type of leather bag is widely used in Tibetan nomadic areas. The skin of a töl, which is the offspring of a bull and a female yak, is removed and treated to be used in bag making. Because the bag is made of töl skin, it is also called tölkhuk, or töl skin bag. Töl bags are containers for small items. The items carried in the bags varies across regions and living circumstances. In addition, a bag made from tripe to store butter is also called a skin bag.
