The cerebrum consists of the cerebral cortex (grey matter), underlying white matter, important fiber bundles like the corpus callosum, and the basal ganglia. Each cerebral hemisphere can be subdivided into the frontal, parietal, occipital, and temporal lobes. Overall, the telencephalon makes up the largest part of the brain.
