In the fall of 2012, John Alexander and Walt Heinecke taught a course, "Documenting UVA's Future"(MDST 3559/ISSS 3559).  Students in that course captured the oral histories of people who had been involved in the ouster of UVA's President, Terry Sullivan, and the protests opposing it.  This site documents the course and the oral histories that the students captured. Each oral history has both an audio file of the interview and a transcription that is included in the description field of the audio file so that one can read the text as he/she listens to the audio.
