- DAMkitsen njaŋjã tsu mi joŋ oleकिचन हामी यो मान्छे सँगै सुते (सुतायौं)।We used to make the men sleep in the kitchen.
- DAMthĩŋkore joŋ joŋ nuk ɖuktsiघरमै सँग सँगै सुतायौँ।We made them sleep in the house.
- DAMgaro mraŋtsa hoʈel primpʌri khʌtseगाह्रो देखेर (देखे पनि) होटल बनाउन आयौँ।Even in the midst of difficulties, we built the hotel.

- DAMlo tsi ŋiti jepʌ aसत्र वर्ष जति भए होला है।It has been over seven years, right?

- DAMtikjũ netĩ tsʌri philĩ tiŋĩ kakti tshjani jʌmeपहिले भन्दा अहिले धेरै पर्यटक घटेका छन्।The number of tourists (who come here) have declined.
- DAMuko tsi tsi kotsekowa ŋjaŋउनीहरू अलि अलि आम्दानी आएर हाम्रो (गुजारा चलेको) हो।(We) earn a living because of the tourists visits to our place.
- DAMmume tsʌpʌ kompʌपरिवारले खाने, लुगा लगाउने।The families eat and clothe themselves (with this income)
- DAMmuŋa pʌlri thiŋ ke phapʌतल काठमाण्डुमा कोठाको बहाल पनि तिर्ने।(and with this), we pay the rent in Kathmandu.
- DAMuko kola phis phapʌउनीहरू वच्चाको फिस तिर्ने।They also pay the fees of the children.
- DAMuko tsu tʌrtse khʌpʌ khja areत्यो वाहेक (आम्दानी) अर्को आउने ठाउँ छैन।(We) have no other source of income.
- DAMphilĩ tsa tsa khʌ lo tsʌkhʌविदेशी अलि अलि आएर (आईदिएर) ।This is because some tourists come (although) in small numbers.
- DAMukotse lʌpʌउनीहरू(ले) गरेर।It is because of them.
- DAMte khʌpkomo arʌ tsʌmoउता बाट फर्किएर आएको मान्छे त छैनन् होला।There are not many people who return home.
- DAMʃi miko kʌti motso moस्थानिय (ओरिजिनल) मान्छे कति होलान्How many men are originally from here?
- DAMʃimiko thĩ ɲi phre motso moʈaleस्थानिय मान्छेको घर सात आट मात्रै छ होला।There might be about seven or eight houses of men originally from here (Manang).
- DAMmoẽ nʌrtẽ phutẽबाहिरको (मान्छे) नारको, फुको (मान्छे छन् यहाँ)।There are foreigners, the people from Nar or Phu.
- DAMjul mi ko ho julko miltitseगाउँको मान्छे हो, गाउँका मान्छे सवै मिल्छन्।(We) all are people from here, we all (live) in harmony.
- DAMjulko mitimगाउँका (मानिस त) मिल्छन्।People agree (live in harmony).

- DAMtaŋpʌ tshʌme kaŋri tshoŋ prĩ talaपहिले तरूनी बेलामा तल झरेर चामल बोकेर (गर्यौं)।in my youth, (I) used to carry rice (and other grains) from lower areas.
- DAMtʌle tuk lʌpʌधेरै दुख गरें।I worked really hard.
- DAMpʌri pʌlpʌri ʈutse tsa kipʌ tʌtsiबिचमा काठमाण्डुमा बसेर अलि राम्रो भयो।(The economic condition) was better while living in Kathmandu.
- DAMjulri khʌpnim julri raŋगाउँमा आईसकेपछि आफ्नै गाउँमाAfter coming back to our own village,
- DAMsupʌri akol kenʌ te khe arʌtsiशरिरमा नलगायो भने केही काम छैन।if you did not work hard, there was no other way.
- DAMte aʈutsiकेही गर्न पनि सकिँदैन।Nothing else can be done about that.
- DAMhoʈel tsʌtilikʌ ŋjaŋ tʌtsi taŋ sulika ŋjaŋ tʌtsiहोटल चलाए (चलाउने) पनि हामी, भाँडा धुने पनि मै (हुँ)।I am the one who runs the hotel, and washes the dishes.
- DAMsiki tsulika ŋjaŋ tʌtsiखाना पकाए पनि हामी (म) नै (हुँ)।We also cook the food.
- DAMatse siŋ tʃjoŋpʌ tsʌla tsuli thulika ŋjaŋअनि दाउरा टिप्ने पनि हामी (मै) नै परें।And I am the one that gathers the firewood.
- DAMke ʈe lupuबारीमा साग टिपे पनि (मुला)I harvest spinach in the field and
- DAMtapili kepre alu tsharaŋ toljã ŋjaŋसवै फापर आलु सवै रोप्ने हामी नै हौँ।we are also responsible for planting buckwheat and potatoes.
- DAMthu salaŋtsi ʌ̃मल थुपार्नु पर्यो।(We) have to pile up the manure.
- DAMta pili ŋjaŋ sja tuka tʌtsjaसवै हामी(ले) आँफै दुख गर्नुपर्ने।We all do the hard work.

- DAMphiljã thutsi kʌri pho naŋgomविदेशीको कृपाले गरेर पेट भरी (खानलाउन पायौँ)because of the help of foreigners, we have been able to make a living.
