Singye Zangmo from Dungkar Chiwog (sub-county) in Kurtoe Gewog (county) in Lhuntse Dzongkhag (district), sings a popular Boedra song called "Choe Nangpa Gungsang Thoenpo". The song is about the delight the author experienced when meeting his/her siblings at a beautiful village, brought together by destiny. They claim the meeting is a result of karmic action from their past lives. The song uses metaphors referring to the sun and the sky, the meadow and the stag, the snow lion and the mountain, the river and the golden fish — all pairs that inevitably meet each other.
