Anung, a villager from Phongmey in Trashigang District, sings a boedra song entitled Meto Tabpai Lola (The Year of Sowing Flower Seeds). The composer of this song compares his root lama with a beautiful flower, which is worth offering in an altar because of its sweet fragrance and beautiful color. The underlying meaning is that his root lama is equally powerful and worthy of respect and offerings. It is a religious song which is performed on religious occasions and celebrations. This song is performed with around five to twenty dancers forming a circle. An old song, its origin and composer are unknown.
