The boedra song “Wonderful Youth” is performed by villagers from Sakteng during the annual ritual parading of religious texts. Masked and unmasked dancers dance in a circle while religious texts are carried around the village perimeter to bring good luck to the community. This particular song is sung all over Bhutan. The lyrics describe a young man who meets with space, the sun, and spiritual masters.
