Women from Chungkha village in Chukha District perform the old boedra song and dance “The White Land of India” (Gyayül Karmö Zhung), during the archery contest organized annually by the villagers. Traditionally after a long period of rigorous agricultural work, all the villagers socialize and entertain themselves at this contest. The lyrics to this song talk about a peacock who is born and raised in India despite the extremely hot temperatures; and also about a crane who is born and raised in Tibet.
