After singing the song, Sangay Dorji from Rijung, in Tashi Yangtshe, gives a brief introduction to it. Once a stag (male deer) decided to climb down a mountain. A does (female deer) told him not go as she had recently made a bad dream. The stag, nevertheless, refused to comply. On his way down he came across a hunter and ended up being killed. The does was sad over the stag’s death and she sang this particular song at that occasion. The song is usually sung and performed in sad and gloomy situations.

- སངས་རྒྱས་རྡོ་རྗེ Sangay Dorjiདེ་འབདཝ་ད་ལུ་ ཤཝ་ཨཔ་གིས་ ཡར་སོངམ་མས་ ཏེ་ འགྱོཝ་ད་ལུ་ ཏེ་ ཁོ་ཤ་རོགསཔ་གི་ལགཔ་ཁར་ཚུད་སོངཔ་མས་ ཁོ་ ཏེ་ ཤ་རོགསཔ་གི་ལགཔ་ཁར་ཚུད་ཞིནམ་ལས་ ཏེ་ ཁོ་བསད་ད་མས། དེ་ལས་ ཨའི་སེམས་སྐྱོ་སྟེ་ ད་ ཨམ་གྱིས་ཏེ་ ཨ་པ་ལུ་བལྟ་ གླུ་འཐེན་བཞག་བཞགཔ་མས།But the male deer went wandering and he was caught in the hand of the hunter. After he was caught by the hunter, he was killed. Then out of sadness the female deer sang a song.

It would had been good, if the male deer listened to the female deer, when she told that the dream was bad and i wish you don't go any where. If he had listened, he would not died. However, because of his ignorance to her he died by being caught in the hunters hand. The song was sang because of this incident.
