“Under the Wheel of Sky with Eight Spokes” is an offering song. The song is probably a version of the song “Shamtha Doley,” which is mostly known in the Dagana District of Bhutan. The first verse speaks of being under the wheel of sky with eight spokes, and the second one of an offering made to heaven. The last verse concludes the song with a comparison between the earth below and the eight leaves of a lotus flower. When compared to other versions of this song, a last line mentioning an offering is to be missing.
