This video was made on the 18th of January 2010. The Tsauguthang village has kept this Bsang offering ritual for many years. Every thirteenth day of the first lunar month villagers climb to a high mountaintop to make offerings to their protector-god by burning juniper branches, tsampa, yogurt, fruits, and roasted barley. Local people ask for the new year to be full of auspiciousness and success.

བརྙན་འདི་ནི་ཉིས་སྟོང་བཅུ་ལོའི་སྤྱི་ཟླ ༢ པའི་ཚེས་པ ༡༨ ཉིན་ལ་ཕབ་པ་དང། ལབ་རྩེད་སྟོད་པ་ནི་ཚ་ངུ་ཐང་སྡེ་བའི་ལོ་མང་པོའི་རིང་གི་ལུགས་སྲོལ་ཡིན་ལ། ལོ་རེའི་ལུགས་རྙིང་གི་ཟླ་དང་པོའི་ཚེ་བཅུ་གསུམ་ཉིན་ནི་རང་གི་སྐྱེས་ལྷ་རྩེད་རྒོད་སྟོད་པའི་བཀྲ་ཤིས་བའི་ཉིན་མོ་ཡིན། ཉིན་འདིར་སྡེ་བའི་སྐྱེད་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མདའ་ཤིང་དང་རླུང་རྟ་རྒྱལ་མཚན་རྩེད་མོ་སོགས་བསང་རྫས་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ་རེ་ཁྱེར་ནས་རང་གི་སྐྱེད་བླ་རྩེད་རྒོད་སྟོད་པ་དང་། སྡེ་མི་རྣམ་ཀྱིས་ལོ་གསར་བའི་ནང་གི་བྱ་བ་ལེགས་འགྲུབ་དང་བགེགས་དང་བར་ཆད་སོགས་མི་བྱུང་བར་སྐྱབས་བཅོལ་གྱི་ཀྭི་སྒྲ་སྒྲོགས་ཅིང་རླུང་རྟ་སོགས་སྤུར་ནས་ཁ་ལས་རླུང་རྟ་དར་བའི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་སྒྲིག་པ་རེད།
