This is an example of a bodra song accompanying the gorgom circle dance. The song describes the auspiciousness of the Kingdom of Bhutan, which was blessed by Guru Rinpoche's visit and by the rule of the great Dharma King who followed. In the lyrics, there is a particular reference to Guru Rinpoche's visit to Menjong, “the country of herbs.” And towards the end, there is a remark about how auspicious is the country where youthful boys and girls can sing, dance, and rejoice. In this video, the women of Genyenkha in Thimphu sing this song while dancing the gorgom at a house warming ceremony.
