ཨ་ནཱི་ དང་ཕུ་ མར་བཀག་སྟོང་ལས་དགྲ་ཐོན་འོངམ་ད་ ཡར་དགྲ་མཁར་སྤོང་ཟེར་ས་ལས་ འུར་རྡོ་རྐྱབ་ད་ རྡོ་འ་ནཱི་གུ་ ཕོག་ཕོགཔ་ཨིན་ཟེར་ འུར་རྡོ་རྐྱབ་པའི་རྡོ་ཨིན་ཟེར་ ང་གིས་ དང་ཕུ་ ང་བཅས་རའི་ ཞིང་ཁར་འོངམ་ད་ རྡོ་འ་ནཱེ་སྦེ་མི་མཐོང་ཅི།

In the ancient time enemy came from downhill of kaktong(name of place) and threw slingshot from the uphill of drakharpong(name of place). In the olden days when i came to farm i saw this stone.

(དགྲ་) མར་ལས་ཡར་འོང་འོངམ་ཨིན་ཟེར་ མར་དུང་དཀར་མཆོད་རྟེན་ལས་ཡར་འོངམ་ད་ དེ་ལས་ འ་ནཱ་བཀག་སྟོང་ལྷོདཔ་ད་ སྟོང་སྟོངམ་ཨིན་ཟེར་ བཀག་སྟོང་གི་མིང་ འ་ནཱེ་གིས་ འཐོབ་ཐོབ་ཨིན་ཟེར་ རོགས་ཀྱིས་ བཤད་ནི་འདུག ངནི་ད་ལྟོའི་མི་ (མནའམ་སྦེ་ལྷོད་ལྷོདཔ་) ཨིན་གསརཔ། They came from downhill crossing dungkar stupa(stupa at the place of dungkar) and when they reach to kaktong they were blocked from comming further so the name of the place came to be known as kaktong(kak-stop and tong-thousand, which means thousands were stoped) as told by others. For me i am new bride here.

དེ་བསྒང་ དང་ཕུ་འབདན་ སྒརཔ་འོང་ནི་ཨིན་པས་ཏེ། སྒརཔ་འོངམ་ད་ གནམ་མེད་ས་མེད་ ཧད་བཏགས་འཚོལ་ཏེ་ འོང་ནི་ཨིན་པས་ཏེ། ཁོང་ཕེབས་ད་ ཕེབས་ཆང་དང་ ལྟོ་དྲངམ་ད་ ལྟོ་ཆང་ཟེར་ ཤོར་ནི་ཡོདཔ་འདྲེས་མེན་ན་ཏེ་ དེ་བསྒང་།

during that time attendents of high officals use to come. They use to come to us by provocating. When they arive we have to offer welcome wine and again during the time of meals.

ཏེ་ཟླཝ་དང་པ་ གཉིས་པ་ལུནི་ ཆུ་སྐམ་མས་མེན་ན་ཏེ། དེ་བསྒང་ ངང་ལ་ཀྲོང་འདི་ དང་ཕུ་ལས་ར་སྡོད་ནུག དང་ཕུ་གི་ ཕ་ཞིང་ར་ཨིན་པས་པ་ ཡར་ལུ་འདི། སྒརཔ་ཚུ་ ག་ར་ཡར་ལུ་ བྱོནམ་ཨིན་པས་པ། ཁོང་ ནཱ་ལས་ཕར་ཚུར་བྱོནམ་ད།

During first and second month of the bhutanese calender water is getting dired. Nga la trong(name of place) was there since long time back. Attendents use to go there when they come here.

ཨ་ཕཱི་ ལྟོ་ཆང་སྒང་གི་ ཆུ་སྐམ་ཞིནམ་ལས་ཚུར་ ལྟོ་ཆང་མི་ཐོབ་ལོ། ཁོང་(སྒརཔ་ཚུ་) འ་ད་ཆུ་སྐམ་སོང་ནུག་ ལྟོ་ཆང་མི་ཐོབ་ཟེར་ སྒརཔ་ཚུ་ སེམས་ར་ཤི་འོང་ལོ། ཨ་ནཱི་གྱེན་གྱི་ རྩ་བར་ལྷོདཔ་ད།

If the water at toe chang(name of place) is dried then it is being said that attendents never use to get wine. They use to be sad thinking that they will not get wine when they reach near uphill.

དེ་ལས་ཚུར་ ལྟོ་ཆང་སྒང་ཟེར་བའི་ མིང་འདི་ལས་ཚུར་ དར་དརཝ་ཨིན་ལོ། དེ་ལས་ ཚད་པ་སྒང་ཟེར་ ཨ་ནཱི་ ཨ་ཅོ་ཚོགས་པ་ བཞུགས་སའི་ས་ཁར་ དེ་ཁར་ ཚད་པ་སྒང་ཟེར་ འ་ནཱ་ལྷོདཔ་ད་ ཚདཔ་ཕོག་ཕོགཔ་ཨིན་ཟེར་ ཚད་པ་སྒང་ཟེར་ མི་ཚུ་ ཚདཔ་གིས་ ན་ནཝ་འདྲས་མེན་ན་ཏེ་ད།

It is said that since then place got a name called toe chang gang(name of place). And the tse pa gang(name of place) is a place where our head of party dwells. When they(enemy) reach to the tse pa gang they got tsepaii ney(malaria) thus place came to be known as tsepai gang.

ཨ་ནཱ་ལུ་ ཚད་པ་སྒང་ཟེར་ དེ་གི་སྦེ་ མིང་འབོ་འབོཝ་ཨིན་ཟེར་ སླབ་མས་ དང་ཕུ་ ང་རའི་ རྨགཔ་གྱོང་མི་གིས། ཁོ་གིས་ འ་ནཱེ་སྦེ་ཨིན། འ་ནཱེ་སྦེ་ཨིན་ཟེར།

This is the main reason for calling this place as tse pa gang according to my late husband.

བཀག་སྟོང་གི་ཐད་ཁར་ལྷོདཔ་ད་ དང་ཕུ་ སྟོང་སྟོངམ། ཁྲག་གིས་ མི་སྟོང་པ་ལུ་བརྟེན་ཏེ་ བཀགང་སྟོང་གི་ མིང་འཐོབ་ཐོབ་ཨིན་ཟེར་ ང་བཅས་རའི་ བཀག་སྟོང་ལུ་ མ་འགྲིགསཔ་ད་ལྟོ་འབད་རུང་ དགྲ་འདི་ཚུ་ཐོན་ནི་ཨིན་པས་པ། ང་བཅས་རའི་ ཁྱིམ་མཚེས་ནང་དོག་ཡང་ མ་འགྲིགསཔ་ཐོནམ་པའི་སྐབས་ ད་དང་ཕུ་གི་ སྲི་སློང་དོ་ཡོདཔ་མས་སྨ་རས་ འ་ནཱི་ས་ཁར། འ་ནཱེ་སྦེ་ཨིན་ལོ་ཟེར་ སླབ་བཞག་པའི་ ང་གིས་འདི་ ཨ་ནཱེ་སྦེ།

With regards to kak tong, in presence of bloodsheet enemy has been stoped so name of the place came to be known as kak tong and incase if somthing mismatch between two people happens within kak tong community even it will make a presence of enemy while cooking also. Even in our house if mismatch between two person people happens then its sigh of provoking ancient spritual politics.

དང་ཕུ་བཀག་སྟོང་ཟེར་མི་འདི་ འ་ནཱེ་སྦེ་ཨིན་ཟེར། དེ་ལས་ སྒརཔ་འདི་ཚུ་འདི་ ཡར་དང་མར་རང་ རྒྱུག་སྟེ་སྡོད་ནུག་པ་ འ་ནཱེ་སྦེ་འོངམ་ད དེ་བསྒང་ དགྲ་མཁར་སྤོང་ཟེར་ དགྲ་ལོག་མི་ཡར་སྡོད་ནུག འ་ནཱེ་གིས་ཡར་ལས་ འུར་རྡོ་རྐྱབ་ད་ འ་ནཱ་ལྷོད་ལྷོདཔ་ཨིན་ལོ།

Kat tong in ancient was like that. And attendents use to travel up and down during that time when they reach to dra khar pong(name of place) some enemy travel towards hillside and for enemy they threw slingshot thus it(stone) reached here.

བྱེལཝ་ཟུབ་ཟུབཔ་་མས་སྨོ་ཤིག?

It resulted in hurly-burly right?

འོང་བྱེལཝ་ དང་ཕུ་བྱེལཝ་ཟུབ་ཏེ་ ཨ་ནཱ་ལྷོདཔ་ད་ སྟོང་སྟོངམ་ཟེར་ བཀག་སྟོང་ཟེར་ སླབ་དགོ་པའི་མིང་ འ་ནཱེ་སྦེ་འབད་ནི་དེ་གིས་ཨིན་ཟེར་ གསུངས་སྡོད་དེ་རོགས་ཀྱིས།

Yes, during the ancient times there was a hurly-burly at this place and due to such incidents the name of the place came to be known as kak tong.

དེ་ལས་ སྒརཔ་ཚུ་ གཞལམ་སྒང་ལས་ དང་ཕུ་ ལམ་འ་ནཱ་ལས་ར་སྡོད་ནུག་མེན་ན་ཏེ་ད། གཞལམ་སྒང་ལས་མར་འོངམ་ད་ ཨ་ཕཱི་ཆུ་སྐམ་པ་ཅིན་ ལྟོ་ཆང་སྒང་ཟེར་ ཨ་ཕཱི་ ཆུ་མ་སྐམ་ཚུན་ཚོད་ སྒརཔ་ག་ཅི་བཟུམ་ཅིག་བྱོན་རུང་ ལྟོ་ཆང་ཤོར་དོ༌ཡོདཔ༌མས༌པ་ཏེ།

The way for attendents to teavel towards zhemgang was via kak tong. When attendents come from zhemgang if the toe chang gang(stream) is not dried then we have to give them food and wine.

དང་ཕུ་ གཡུས་ཁའི་མི་ཚུ་ འ་ནཱི་ ཆུ་སྐམ་ཚར་ཞིནམ་ལས་ཚུར་ ལྟོ་ཆང་མི་ཐོབ་ལོ། དང་ཕུ་ ལྟོ་ཆང་མི་ཐོབ་ཟེར་ སྒར་པ་ཚུ་ སེམས་ཤི་བའི་ལོ་ཟེར་ ང་རའི་ ཨ་ལོའི་ ཨ་པ་གྱོང་མི་གིས་ དེ་སྦེ་བཤད་སྡོད་དེ་ཁོ་གིས།

In ancient time it is said that people will not get food and wine if that stream is dried. In the olden days attendents will be sad if that stream is dried as told by the late father of my child.

འ་ནཱི་ ཉན་བཞག་བཞགཔ་ཅིག་ར་ཨིན་ ང་རང་གིས་ ནཱ་ལྷོད་དེ་རྨགཔ་གི་ གཏམ་ར་འ་ནཱེ་་ཅིག་རང་ཨིན།

This is only thing that i heard from my late husband.
