ང་བཅས་ནཱ་ལུ་ འཆམ་བཟུམ་ཅིག་འབད་བ་ཅིན་ ད་ལེའུ་བཞི་སྦེ་རྐྱབ་ནི་ཡོད་ལགས། འཆམ་ལེའུ་བཞི་འབད་ཞིནམ་ལས་ དང་པ་འདི་ས་བཅགས་གསེས། དེ་ལས་གཉིས་པ་འདི་ དམག་འཆམ། ད་གསུམ་པ་འདི་དཔའ་འཆམ། དེ་ལས་བཞི་པ་འདི་ཞལ་འཆམ་གསེས།

We have four different kind of steps in our mask dance. the first one is called the Sachag. The second is called Makcham. the third is the Pacham. and the last one, the Zhelcham.

ད་འ་ནེ་སྦེ་ འ་ནིའི་སྐབས་ལུ་ མ་མགོན་གྱི་ཆོ་གུ་ཡང་གནང་དགོ་ལགས། ཉིནམ་གཅིག་གི་རིང་ལུ་ མ་མགོན་གྱི་ཆོ་ག་ཚུ་གནང་། ནང་འཆམ་གསེས། འ་ན་ལུ་འཆམ་འདི་ཚུ་ཡང་གནང་ལགས།

and then we have to perform the rituals for the host in one day and then simultaneously perform the mask dance here as well.

དང་པོ་ཡར་ལས་མར་ས་བཅགས། ས་བཅགས་ཞིནམ་ལས་ ས་འདི་ཚུ་ཡར་ ལྷ་འདྲེ་་་་ འདི་ནང་ལུ་ས་ལ་དབང་བའི་བདག་པོ་འདི་ཚུ་ལས་ཚུར་ ལྷངམ་མས་བ་ལགས།

first, from above, the Sachag. This is 'cause the land is being begged from the earth Goddess.

ཧེ་མ་ཨ་ནི་སྦེ་ ལྷ་སྲིན་ཚུ་གིས་ ལྷ་སྲིན་འདྲེ་སྲིན་ཚུ་གིས་ གནོད་པ་རྐྱབ་སྡོད་པའི་དུས་ཚོད་ནང་ལུ་ ཁོང་ལས་འབད་ཞིནམ་ལས་ས་འདི་ཚུ་ཚུར་ལྷང་། ཏེ་འ་ནི་འབད་ཞིནམ་ལས་ དེ་ལས་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁ་རྒྱུན་ལས་འབད་བ་ཅིན་ ཁོང་དེ་སྦེ་བཤདཔ་མས་ལགས།

It's because, during the times when the demoness and spirits ruled the earth, It was being begged from them.

འདྲེ་སྲིན་ཚུ་ཡང་ག་ར་ འ་ནི་ལུ་ འཆམ་འདི་ཚུ་ལུ་ཡེངས་སྡོད་ཞིནམ་ལས་ འ་ནེ་སྦེ་ཡེངས་སྡོད་སྦེ་ཞིནམ་ལས་ འཆམ་འདི་རྐྱབ་ ད་འ་ནི་ཁར་ཡེངས་སྡོད་ཞིནམ་ལས་ ལྷ་ཁང་འདི་བཞེངས་གནང་ཡི་གསེས་ དེ་སྦེ་བཤདཔ་མས།

the demoness and spirits were distracted by this mask dance, and thus the lhakhang was built.

དེ་གཅིག་ ཏེ་གཅིག་གཙོ་བོ་ར་ ནཱ་གི་གཏེར་འཆམ་གསེས་མི་འདི་ སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་ཁོ་ར་གིས་ དག་སྣང་ནང་གཟིགས་ དེ་ལསན་ ད་ཟངས་མདོག་དཔལ་རིའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་ནང་ གུ་རུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་དང་དངོས་སུ་སྦེ་མཇལ་ཏེ་གིས་སྦེ་ ཡར་ལས་མར་ ལོག་བྱོན་སྦེ་ ནཱ་ལུ་དེ་སྦེ་གནང་ནུག་བ་ལགས།

The main mask dance is the Tercham. He visualized the dance in Zangdopelri with Gururinpochoe and then performed here.

ཏེ་གུ་རུ་གི་འཆམ་གསེས་རུང་ ཀུན་འཆམ་བཟུམ་ཅིག་ཡང་ཨིན་པས་ལགས་འ་ནི། གུ་རུ་ཁོ་ར་གི་གཏེར་འཆམ་གསེས་རུང་འདྲ། ཏེ་སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་ཁོ་ར་གི་གསེས་རུང་ གཅིག་རང་ དེ་སྦེ་ར་ཨ་ནི་སྦེ་བཤདཔ་མས་ལགས།

You can say, this is Ugyen Guru's tercham or trulku's tercham. It refers to one.
