According to the prophecy of Jampas Sutra, the sixteen Arhats have great knowledge, comparable even to Buddha. It describes the great devotion of Buddha and other beings to bettering other lives. As per the teaching of Buddha, Dharma is always practiced for beings in this realm. Therefore, the sixteen Arhats are known as the guardians of dharma.
༉ བྱམས་པ་ལུང་བསྟན་པའི་མདོ་ལས་བཤད་པ་ལྟར་འབད་བ་ཅིན། གནས་བརྟན་ཆེན་པོ་བཅུ་དྲུག་པོ་འདི་ཚུ་སྤངས་རྟོགས་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་ སངས་རྒྱས་དང་ཁྱད་མེད་རུང་། སྔོན་གྱི་སྨོན་ལམ་དང་སངས་རྒྱས་དང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཚུ་གི་ཕྲིན་ལས་སྤེལ་བའི་དོན་དུ་སྟོན་པའི་ཞབས་དྲུང་དུ་འཁོད་པ་ན། སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བཀའ་བཞིན་ འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་ག་ཏེ་ཡང་སེམས་ཅན་དར་རྒུད་བྱུང་མི་ཚུ་ལུ་གཟིགས་ཏེ་ ཉིན་མཚན་དུས་དྲུག་ཏུ་བསྐོར་ར་རྐྱབ་སྟེ་བཞུགས་ཡོདཔ་སྦེ་གསུངས་ཏེ་འདུག གནས་བརྟན་ཆེན་པོ་བཅུ་དྲུག་པོས་ འཁོར་བ་མ་སྟོངས་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་དོན་རྒྱུན་མི་འཆད་པ་མཛད་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ མཛད་པ་འཕྲིན་ལས་རྣམ་པ་བཞིས་ ཡུལ་གྱི་རྗེས་སུ་མཐུནམ་སྦེ་ བསྟན་པ་སྐྱོང་གནངམ་ལས་ ཆོས་སྐྱོང་བའི་སྲུང་མ་ཆེན་པོ་ཨིན་ཟེར་ བཤདཔ་ཨིན་པས།

- སྐུ་དྲུང་ Kudungཏེ་གནས་བརྟེན་ཕྱག་མཆོད་ཟེར་མི་འདི་ གཙོ་གཙོ་བོ་ར་ ག་ཏེ་ལས་བྱུང་ཡི་དགོ་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་ ཏེ་འགོ་དང་པ་ར་ སངས་རྒྱས་ འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་ལུ་ བཞུགས་ཡོད་རུང་ ནཱ་འཇིག་རྟེན་འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་གི་རྒྱལ་པོ། ང་བཅས་ར་གི་ ཞབས་དྲུང་ངག་དབང་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་བྱོནམ་ད་ལུ་ ཞབས་དྲུང་ངག་དབང་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་གྱིས་ སངས་རྒྱས་ལུ་བསྟེན་ཏེ་ སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ བཀའ་བཞིན་བསྒྲུབས་ཏེ་ གནས་རྟེན་ཕྱག་མཆོད་ག་ཅི་དགོཔ་འདུག་ འཇིག་རྟེན་འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་ནང་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན། གནས་རྟེན་ཕྱག་མཆོད་འགོ་བཙུགས་དགོཔ་འདུག་ཟེར་ ཐུགས་སྨོན་གནང་གནང་མས།So, the Neten Chakcho ritual came to existence only during the comming of the dharma king of world Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. It was instituted as instructed by the lord Buddha. Lord Buddha asked our Dharma king what is needed in the world and he requested for the institution of a Neten Chakcho and granted his wish.
- སྐུ་དྲུང་ Kudungགནས་བརྟེན་ཕྱག་མཆོད་ཟེར་མི་འདི་ གྱངས་ཁ་འབད་བ་ཅིན་ རྣམ་གྲངས་བཅུ་དྲུག་འདུག། རྣམ་གྲངས་བཅུ་དྲུག་ལུ་ ཨ་ནཱ་ལས་ རྣམ་གྲངས་བཅུ་དྲུག་ལུ་ འབདཝ་ད་ལུ་ ཏེ་ད་ ཨ་ནཱ་ལས་ ཨཱ་་་གནས་ གནས་བརྟེན་ཟེར་ གནས་ག་ཏེ་ལུ་བསྟེན་དགོཔ་སྨོ་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་ རང་གི་སེམས་འདི་ གནས་སྟངས་དང་འགྱོ་འོང་ཟེར་ ལཱ་འབད་རུང་གནས་སྟངས་ ག་ཅི་འབད་རུང་གནས་སྟངས་ ཏེ་ད་ལྟོ་༼ཆ་གཅིག་༽བསྒྲུབ་དོ་བ་ལགས། ཨ་ནི་འདི་ དང་པ་ར་ གནས་བརྟེན་ནི་གིས་ སེམས་ལུ་བསྟེན་དགོ་ཟེར་ སླབ་ནུག་བ་ལགས། རང་གི་སེམས་ལུ་ར།Their are sixteen synoynm of Neten Chakcho. Neten means where should we depend our mind on. Whatever we do, it depends upon the mind. Similarly, our mind too depend on the situation on which we are working on it. So, every situation should depend on our mind which would master everything we do.
- སྐུ་དྲུང་ Kudungག་ཅི་འབད་ནི་གི། ག་ཅི་འབད་ནི་ཡོད་ག། ག་ཅི་འབག་འོང་དགོཔ་འདུག་ག། ཨ་ནཱི་ཅ་ལ་གྱིས་ ག་ཅི་ལུ་ཕན་ཐོག་ནི་མས་ག? དེ་ལས་ ཨ་ནཱ་གཅིག་ ག་བསྟེན་ནི་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་ སངས་རྒྱས་ལུ་བརྟེན་མ་གཏོགས་མི་འབྱུང་ཟེར་གསུངས་ནུག། དེ་ལས་ སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱིས་འདི་ དང་པ་ར་ ཏེ་གྲྭ་ཚང་ དགོན་སྡེ། རྫོང་ཁག། དེ་ལས་ གྲྭ་ཚང་།What you want to do? what you got to do? what should you bring? For what purpose this thing will be for? Neten Chakcho would be only possible to born if you believe and devote to Lord buddha. Lord buddha instructed to built lamasery, monastery, and dzongs.
- སྐུ་དྲུང་ Kudungགྲྭ་ཚང་གིས་འབད་དེ་ དེ་ལས་ གཞི་བཙུགས་མཛད་དེ་ དེ་ལས་རྐྱངམ་ཅིག་ དགེ་སློང་བཙུགས་ཏེ་ དགེ་སློང་གིས་འབད་དེ་ དེ་ལས་ ཆོས་འབད་ནི་གི་རིམ་པ་བཞིན་དུ་ ང་བཅས་ཚུ་གིས་ ཨཱ་་་་རྣམ་གྲངས་བཅུ་དྲུག་འདི་ ང་གིས་ རྣམ་གྲངས་རྩིས་ནི་གི་ དཔྱད་རིས་མིན་འདུག། དེ་ལས་ ཨ་ནཱི་བཅུ་དྲུག་འདི་ ཕབ་གནང་ནུགAfter the construction of the monastery, he instructed to enroll monks so as to practice the dharma and inculcate the Neten Chakcho. He told that he has forgotten all the sixteen synoymn of Neten Chakcho.
- སྐུ་དྲུང་ Kudungཨ་ནཱི་འབད་དགོ། ཨ་ནཱི་འབད་དགོ། ཨ་ནཱ་ ཨ་ཕཱི་གི་གནས་སྟངས་ཨིན། ཨ་ནཱི་གནས་སྟངས་ཨིན། ཨ་ནཱི་ཨ་ནཱི་གིས་ འབད་དགོ་པའི་སྐབས་ཨིན་ཟེར་ཏེ་གནང་ནུག། འདི་འབདཝ་ལས་བརྟེན་ཏེ་ གནས་བརྟེན་བཅུ་དྲུག་ འགོ་དང་པ་ར་ གནས་བརྟེན་བཅུ་དྲུག་ ཧ་དགོ་དགོཔ་ དགེ་སློང་གྲྭ་ཚང་ནང་ཨིན་རུང་ ང་བཅས་ཆོསཔ་ཨིན་རུང་ གནས་བརྟེན་བཅུ་དྲུག་འདི་ འབད་དགོ་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ ཨ་ནཱ་ལས་ འབྱུང་འབྱུངམ་ཨིན་མས་ལགས།should do in that manner, should do in that manner. For this, that one is the situation. This is the situation. This is for that purpose. That is the reason why monk, practitioner should know all the sixteen synoymn of Neten Chakcho and it has evolve.
