He grew up in this rural village without any education, living with animals, until he and his people first received Buddhist education. He explains what traditions of Buddhism came, explicitly mentioning a lama called Bartsam lama, crediting him for any religious education that has developed in the area. Bartsam lama, a Buddhist priest, was the first person who brought the first education system to the Gashari region.
