Sangay Dorji narrates a story about two cow herders and a dog that barked all night, preventing them from sleeping. One of the cow herders told the other one that his dog was too noisy and needed to be sent back home. The owner of the dog strived to explain to his friend that his dog would never bark without a reason, but he failed to do so. He finally left to take his dog home. The other cow herder stayed behind with his infant. That night a yeti invaded their campground, and when the dog owner arrived the next day he found his friend dead. The dog was barking because he saw the yeti; he was either trying to chase the yeti away or to warn his owner.

    ummm! this is the one. In the village of mongar shermong there is a mountain where there lived two herder and a dog,

    ཨ་ནཱི་ རོ་ཁྱི་གིས་ཉིན་ནུབ་མེད་པར་ ཕྱི་རུ་སོངམ་ད་ར་ ཏེ་ གནམ་མེད་ས་མེད་ ཧབ་ཧབ་ཨིན་མས། ཧབ་ཅི་ཧབ་ཅི་ར་སྡོད་དོ་ཡོདཔ་མས། ཧབ་ཅི་ར་སྡོདཔ་ད་ལུ་ འ་ནཱི་ཆ་རོགས་གཅིག་དེ་གིས་སླབ་སླབ་མས།
    The dog was barking all the time, evening time the dog was barking so much and there was a friend he said,

    ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ རོ་ཁྱི་འདི་ ད་ ཧབ་ནི་དྲགས་ར་དྲགས་པས། ད་ ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རོ་ཁྱི་ལོག་སྟེ་ ཁྱིམ་ནང་བསྐྱེལ་ད་ ང་བཅས་ན་ཉམས་ཚེརཝ་མས། ང་བཅས་ ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ རོ་ཁྱི་མིན་དགོ་པས། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རོ་ཁྱི་ལོག་ཁྱིམ་ནང་ བསྐྱེལ་ཟེར་སླབ་སླབ་མས།
    Your dog is barking alot, we are getting distrubed, we don't want your dog sent him back to the home.

    དེ་ལས་ ཏེ་ ཨ་ནཱི་ རོ་ཁྱི་གི་ཇོ་བདག་གིས་སླབ་སླབ་ཨིན་པས། དབའི་ ཁོ་ལུ་ དོན་དག་ཁུངས་ཅིག་འོང་མས། རོ་ཁྱི་ཧབ་མི་ལུ་ དོན་དག་ཅིག་འོང་མས། ཁོ་ལུ་ དོན་དག་མེད་པ་འདི་ མི་ཧབ་ཟེར་སླབ་སླབ་མས།
    Then the dog owner said may be the dog got some reason of barking, he won't bark without reason.

    སླབ་རུང་ར་ ཨ་ འབག་འབག་ ང་ཉམས་ཚེརཝ་མས། ཁྱོད་ལུ་དོན་དག་ ཁུངས་ཡོད་རུང་མེད་རུང་ ཁོ་གིས་སླབ་སྟེ་ ཁོ་ ཡར་ལུ་བདའ་བཏང་བཏངམ་མས་ ཡར་བལྟ་སྟེ་ ཁོ་གིས་ རོ་ཁྱིའི་ཇོ་བདག་མེན་པར་ གཞན་མི་གིས་ཁྱིམ་ཅིག་ལུ་སྤྲོད་པ་འཁྱིད་འཁྱིདཔ་ཨིན་མས།
    But the friends/neighbour didn't listen, you sent the dog to home, then the owner sent the dog to the home but not at his own home he sent him to his friends place.

    the other owner knew that there is something wrong because the dog won't bark without reason there is something devil spirit or may be demond is coming that's why the dog is barking a lot.

    The owner didn't take the dog directky to home but from the middle of the way he brought back the dog with him, so there was a yangkom cattle,

    the mithun cattle was lost so they search every where but didn't find it, now i think i lost my cattle and he slept.

    རོ་ཁྱི་ཡང་མ་འཁྱིདཔ་ཨིན་པས། ཨ་ནཱི་ ལྟོ་ཚང་ཡང་མ་ལྷོདཔ་ཨིན་པས། དེ་ལས་ ཁོ་ ཧ་ལམ་ཅིག་ལས་ ཁོ་ར་ཕུད་རྡོག་གཅིག་རྐྱངམ་ཅིག་སྡོདཔ་ད་ལུ་ ཏེ་ ཨ་ནཱི་བྱང་སའི་ལྟག་ལས་མར་ སོར་སོར་ཟེར་འབདཝ་མས་ལོ་ ཏེ་ དབའི་སོར་སོར་ཅིག་འབདཝ་མས། ངེ་ རྒྱ་ཚམོ་འདི་ལོག་ལྷོད་ལྷོད་ཨིན་པས་ཟེར་ མནོ་བསམ་བཏང་ཡི་བཏང་ཡི་ ལྟག་ཀོ་སེང་སྟེ་བལྟ་བལྟཝ་ཨིན་མས་ ཁོ་གིས།
    the dog and his friend didn't return back and he was alone then above the herd there was a sound (sor sor) coming and he thought may be his cattle came back, he raise his head and looked outside.

    འ་ནཱེ་འབད་རུང་ ཕྱི་ཁ་འདི་མ་ཐོནམ་ཨིན་པས་ཁོ། ད་རུང་ སོར་སོར་འབདཝ་མས་ལོ་ དེ་འབདཝ་ད་ ཕྱི་ཁར་འདི་ འཐོན་མ་འགྱོ་བས་ ཁོ་གིས། དེ་ལས་ ཏེ་ ཧ་ལམ་ཅིག་ལས་བལྟཝ་ད་ལུ་ ཨ་ནཱ་ལས་ རྡོག་པའི་མཇུག་ལས་ མི་འདྲོག་སི་སི་ བལྟ་ར་མ་ཚུགསཔ་ཅིག་ ལོང་སྡོད་ནུག་ལོ་ ཏེ།
    he did't see what's outside again there was something different sound coming but he didn't go out side, after sometime he when looked outside he saw a gaint man very scary was standing,

    ཨ་ནཱ་ མིག་འཛུམ་ག་ར་ ལགཔ་གི་མཛུབ་མོ་བཟུམ་སྦེ་འདུག་ལོ་རིངམོ། དེ་ལས་ རག་ཀ་རོག་ཀ་སྦེ་འདུག་ལོ་ གཟུགས་ཆ་མཉམ། དེ་ལས་ ཁོ་འདྲོག་འདྲོགཔ་ཨིན་མས་ཏེ། ཁོ་རའི་ ཨ་ལོ་ཆུང་ཀུ་ཅིག་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན་པས་བ། ཆུང་ཀུ་ཅིག་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན་པས་ ཨ་ལོ། ཨ་ནཱི་ ཨ་ལོ་འདི་ བཞག་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན་པས། བཞག་སྟེ་ ཨ་ནཱི་ མི་འདི་གིས་ ཧ་ལམ་ཅིག་ལས་ ནང་ན་ འོང་མས་ལོ་སྟེ།
    that scary person was so scary that his eye brows were like fingers and on top of that his teeth were unlable so different and messy. then he got scared of it. with him there was a small child he kept the child inside the herd but the scary man slowing coming inside the herd.

    inside the herd the man made the fire already, because he said to the child that today this scary man will do something to us so will make the fire, but the scary man too was buring the fire wood, the scary man was doing same like the man inside the herd then they finish the firewood.

    there wasn't firewood left. Ahh! fire wood is finished now then the demon was asleep and the man was too scared, when he was about to sleep he pinch the child,

    དབའི་ ཨ་ལོ་གུ་ག་ཅི་སྦེ་ སེན་མོ་བཏབ་སྨོ་ཟེརཝ་མས་ལོ་ ཨ་ནཱེ་མི་གིས། ཤུཏ་ ཨ་ལོ་གུ་ སེན་མོ་བཏབ་ནི་ཨིན་ན་ཁྱོད་ ཟེར་སླབ་མས་ལོ་ ཏེ་ ཨ་ནཱེ་མི་གིས། ཏེ་ དེ་ལས་ ཏེ་ ལོག་ག་ནི་ཡང་འབད་མ་ཚུགས་ལོ་ ཁོ་གིས། དེ་འདབཝ་ལས་ ཨ་ནཱེ་ཅིག་སྦེ་ མེ་འཕུ་ཡི་འཕུ་ཡི་སྡོདཔ་ད་ར་ བྱ་པོད་འབོ་ཡི་ལོ། བྱ་པོད་འབོཔ་ད་ལུ་ ཏེ་ ཁོ་ཙང་བཏང་ཚར་ཅིག་གུ་ ལོང་འགྱོཝ་མས་ལོ།
    Hey! why are you pinching the child? shuutt! are you going to pinch the child? said the demon. then the man could't do anything and they burn the fire and the cock crows, then the demon slowly went.

    དོན་གོ་ དོན་གོ་ དོན་གོ་ཟེར་འགྱོཝ་མས་ལོ་ ཁོ་ར་གཅིག་སྐད་རྐྱབ་སྟེ། ཏེ་ ཨ་ནཱ་ལས་ ད་རུང་ར་ ཨ་ཙི་ཅིག་ཁར་ལས་ ག་དེ་ཅིག་འགྱོཝ་མས་ག་ བལྟ་གེ་མནོ་ཟེར་ བལྟ་བལྟཝ་ཨིན་མས། ཨ་ནཱེ་སྦེ་ དོན་གོ་གི་ལགཔ་ སྒྲིལ་ཡི་སྒྲིལཝ་ཨིན་པས་ གོ་གི་ལགཔ་སྒྲིལཝ་ད་ ཧ་ལམ་ཅིག་ལས་ ཨ་ནཱ་ ལམ་ལྟག་ལས་ ཁོ་གིས་ བྱང་སའི་ལྟག་ལས་ སྐད་རྐྱབ་མས་ལོ། རྒྱ་ཚམོ་གིས་སྐད་སྦེ་ བང་ བང་ཟེར་ སྐད་རྐྱབ་མས་ལོ།
    (dengo dengo) shouted and the demond went, the man was watching his move and the demond was moving his way folding his hand. above his herd he heard his cattle's sound (baaa baaa).

    དེ་ལས་ དབའི་ རྒྱ་ཚམོ་ལྷོད་ལྷོདཔ་མས་ཟེར་ ཁོ་ ད་རུང་ཡང་ སེམས་ཕང་སྟེ་ ངེ་གི་ རྒྱ་ཚམོ་ལྷོད་ནུག་ཟེར་ ཐོན་འོང་བཅུག་ཟེར་ མནོ་མནོཝ་མས་ ཁོ། ཁོ་གིས་ ཐོན་མ་འགྱོཝ་ཨིན་པས། ཨ་ནཱི་ ནང་ལས་བལྟ་བལྟཝ་ཨིན་པས། ཨ་ནཱ་ལས་བལྟཝ་ད་ལུ་ ག་ཅི་རྒྱ་ཚམོ་མེན་པར་ སྐད་རྐྱབ་རྐྱབ་མེན་པར་ ཁོ་འདུག་ལོ་ད་རུང་།
    Then the man thought that may be his cattle came. he didn't move from the herd nad looked but it wasn't his cattle but it was the demond.

    the demond was so messy and scary after sometime he rise up and the man died out shocked. this is the story how man died out of shocked after seeing the demon. Thank you.
