Video Overview
In this video, Pema Tshewang narrates a story about three friends: a moss, a ball of earth, and a caterpillar. The three friends make preparations to eat a feast together. The moss takes charge of making a fire, but ends up getting burned alive. The ball of earth takes charge of fetching water, but ends up washed away. Finally, the caterpillar tries to collect firewood, but gets killed, mashed under a tree branch. In a way, this story educates children about the nature of such things.

- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangད་འདི་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས་ལགས། ས་ཀོག་ཏོ་གཅིག་དང་ ཤིང་གི་ཧཱཡམ་(ཤིང་གུ་སྐྱེས་བའི་རྩྭ་)གཅིག་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས་ལགས། དེ་ལས་ ང་ལག་པའི་ཇོང་ཟེར་(ཁེངས་ཁའི་ནང་ཤིང་གི་འབུཔ་) རིང་འཐུང་ཨ་ནེམ་རེ་ ཀ་པཱ་ལི་སྦོམ་སྦེ་མི་ཅིག་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས་ལགས།Now there was this, a roll of soil and a grass which is there on the tree. Then there was also an insect which is found inside woods.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཁོང་གསུམ་ཆ་རོགས་བཟུང་བཟུངམ་མས་ལགས། ད་ཆ་རོགས་བཟུང་ཞིནམ་ལས་སེམས་དགའ་སྟེ་ མཛར་ཅུམ་བཟའ་སྟེ་ ད་ང་བཅས་གསུམ་འགྱོ་གེ་མནོ་ཟེར་ ང་བཅས་གསུམ་གྱིས་ ཁུངས་ཅིག་འདི་ བཀལ་ཚུགས་ནི་མས་ཟེར།Three of them made friends to eachother. As they were friends they were happy and they went for a picnic saying that they will be able to do something.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangང་བཅས་གསུམ་གྱིས་ རྒྱལ་ཁ་ཅིག་འདི་ ཐོབ་ཚུགས་ནི་མས་ཟེར་ ཁོང་ར་ནང་དོག་ བློ་སླབ་སླབ་མས། ས་ཀོག་ཏོ་དང་ ཧཱཡམ་དང་ ང་ལག་པ་འབུཔ་གསུམ་གྱིས།They discussed amoung themselves that one will win. They were the roll of soil, the grass and an insect.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་ལས་ ཁོང་གསུམ་འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་མས་ལགས་ད་་་ རྒྱགས་སྐལ་དང་ ཏའུ་ཐབ་ཆས་འབག་སྟེ་ འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་མས་ཏེ་ ཡར་འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་མས་ཏེ་ བོད་ཁ་ཐུག་ལུ་ ཁོང་གསུམ་པོ་འདི།Then three of them went. They took ration and pot with them and three of them went towards tibet side.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་ལས་ འགྱོ་འགྱོ་བའི་བར་ན་ ཉིནམ་གཅིག་ལུ་ ཕྱི་རུ་ཞག་ཉལ་བར་ སྟོང་ཕུ་ཤིང་གི་ཚང་ནང་ ལྷོད་ལྷོདཔ་མས་ལགས། སྟོང་ཕུ་ཤིང་གི་ཚང་ནང་ན་ ཉལ་ཏེ་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས།Then travelling and travelling within one day they reach to a place where there was many pine trees to hold a night there. They sleep there only.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཉལ་སྡོད་ཞིནམ་ན་ དེ་ལས་ དྲོ་པ་ཤར་དཀར་བའི་སྐབས་ ད་མེ་འཕུ་དགོ་པས་ཟེར་ ད་ཤིང་འཐུ་བར་ག་འགྱོ་ནི་སྨོ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། དེ་བསྒང་ འབུཔ་གིས་ ང་འགྱོ་གེ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས།Then in the morning when the day broke, they said they have to make a fire and asked who will go to collect the firewoods? That time an insect said he will go and collect.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཆུ་དབོག་པར་ག་འགྱོ་ནི་ཟེརཝ་ད་ ས་ཀོག་ཏོ་གིས་ ང་འགྱོ་གེ་ཟེརཝ་མས་ལོ། ཆུའི་གཟར་ཁར་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས་ལགས། ཆུ་ཕར་ཕར་བཏང་།While asking who will go and fetch watcr, the roll of soil said he will go. There was water fall, where it falled here and there.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་ལས་ ཤིང་གི་ཧཱཡམ་གིས་ མེ་འཕུ་མི་ ང་ཨིན་སྨ་ར་ཟེརཝ་མས་ལོ། ཡ་ད་ཀྲིག་ཀྲི་ཨིན་སྨ་རེ་ ང་བཅས་གསུམ་གྱིས་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། ལྟག་མ་ལྟོ་བཟོ་བཟད་ནི་ཨིན་སྨ་རེ་ཟེར་ བསྟུན་གྲོས་འབད་འབདཝ་ལགས་ ཁོང་ར་གསུམ།Then grass said i will make a fire. Then said it is fine with three of us. Three of them discussed that they will cook later.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangམཛར་ཅུམ་བཟོ་བཟའ་ནི་སྨ་རེ་ ང་བཅས་ར་ཆ་ཁྱབ་ཟེར་ དེ་ལས་ འབུཔ་འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་མས་ལགས་ ཤིང་འཐུ་བར་ ས་ཀོག་ཀོ་ཆུ་དབོག་པར་འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་མས་ལགས།An insect went to collect firewood saying we will have picnic. The roll of soil went to fetch water.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་ལས་ ཤིང་གི་ཧཱཡམ་འདི་ མེ་འཕུ་མི་སྦེ་ ནཱ་ལུ་ལུས་ལུསཝ་མས། དེ་ལས་ དྲོ་མཛར་བཟོ་བཟའ་ནི་སྦེ་ མེ་འཕུ་དོཝ་མས་ ཤིང་གི་ཧཱཡམ་གིས་ མེ་ཀྲེ་ཀྲེག་བཏང་བཏེགཔ་ཅིག་ ཁོ་ར་ཕྱེ་འཐག་འཐག་མེ་གིས་ འཚིགས་བཏང་བཏངམ་མས་ཏེ་ ཤིང་གི་ཧཱཡམ་འདི། ཁོ་ར་གུ་མེ་འབར་ཏེ་ ཤུལ་ར་མ་ལུས་པར་ཤི་སོངཔ་མས།Then grass left as he was to make the fire. He was making a fire inorder to prepare a breakfast. While he was lighting a matches he got burned by the fire on his head and died without any sign.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་ལས་ ས་ཀོག་ཏོ་འདི་ ཆུ་དབོག་པར་འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་མས་ཏེ་ལགས། ས་ཀོག་ཏོ་གིས་ ཆུ་བཟེད་བཟེདཔ་མས། དང་ཕུ་ཆུ་དུང་འདྲཝ་ག་ཏེ་འོང་པ་ ཏེ་པ་ལང་བཟུམ་ཅིག་ཡོདཔ་མས།Then the roll of soil went to fetch water. He received water in the container which was there in the past.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཆུའི་གཟར་ཁར་ ས་ཀྲག་ཀྲ་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས་ཏེ་ དེ་འབདཝ་ད་ ས་ཀོག་ཏོ་ཁོ་ར་གུ་ ཆུ་མཆོངས་འོང་སྟེ་ ཆུ་གིས་འབག་འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་མས་ས་ཀོག་ཏོ་འདི།He stayed with full concerntration near water fall but then the water itself fall on him and he was washed away by water fall.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཏེ་ ང་ལག་པ་འབུཔ་གིས་འབད་བ་ཅིན་ སྟོང་ཕུ་ཤིང་བརྡབ་བརྡབས་མས་ཏེ་ལགས་ ཤིང་འབག་ནི་སྦེ་ དེ་འབདཝ་ད་ ཤིང་གུ་སྦྱར་ཏེ་ ཁོ་ཡང་ ཤི་ཤིཝ་མས་ཏེ་ལགས།So. coming to an insect he cut off the pine tree. When he was about to take the wood, he got stick with the wood and he died.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་འབདཝ་ད་ ཁོང་གསུམ་གྱིས་ ཚགས་ཁར་འ་ནེམ་ཅིག་ ཚུད་ནུག་ལགས། མཛར་ཅུམ་ཡང་ ག་ནི་ཡང་མ་བཟའ་བས་ འ་ནེམ་ཅིག་སྦེ་བསྟན་པ་ཡལ་ནུག་ལགས་ ཁོང་ར་གསུམ།But than three of them could make till this point. they didnot had picnic also as all three of them end their life.
