ད་སྲུང་འདི་དྲང་སོང་དང་ཤ་རོགས་གི་སྲུང་ཨིན། འདི་ནང་རྒྱལ་བ་དང་ལས་གི་སྐོར་ལས་ཨིན།

This is a story about a Sage and a Hunter where it talks about sin and dharma.

དང་ཕུག་དྲང་སོང་གཅིག་ནག་ཚལ་སྦོམ་ཅིག་ནང་སྒོམ་རྐྱབ་སྡོད་དོ་ཡོདཔ་མས། ཏེ་ཁོ་གི་སྒོམ་རྐྱབ་ཅིག་རང་ལྷའི་མི་སྒྲུབ་ཅིག་རང་སྡོད་དོ་ཡོདཔ་མས། ཨོ་བ་སོ་དེ་བ་ཟེར་རང་ངག་གྱངས་འདི་སྡོད་དོ་ཡོད་མས།

Once upon a time, there lived a Rishi who was mediating in a thick forest. While he was mediating he used to utter god's name and offer prayers [namu bhagati upas debhai.] He used to say this while he was mediating, either he used to say mantras.

ཉི་མ་གཅིག་དུས་ངན་པ་ཅིག་གང་ ཤ་རོགས་སྡིག་ཅན་ཅིག་ ཤ་བདའ་སེམས་ཅན་ཚུ་བསད་ཅིག་རང་ ཨ་ལོ་དང་བཟང་ཚང་གསོ་འདི་སྡོད་དོ་ཡོད་མས། ཉི་མ་གཅིག་ཤ་རོགས་འདི་གི་ཀ་ཤ་གཅིག་མདའ་རྐྱབ་འདི་་ཞཝ་བཟོ་ད་ནུག ཞཝ་བཟོ་ད་པའི་གང་ལས་ དེ་ལས་ཀ་ཤ་འདི་ཞཝ་ཞཝ་འབད་ ཁྲག་མཐོན་མཐོན་འབད་ནག་ཚལ་ནང་གཡིབ་ས་འཚོལ་འགྱོ་ནུག འགྱོ་འདི་ཁྲག་མཐོནའི་མཐོནའི་འགྱོཝ་ད་ ཀ་ཤ་འདི་ཤིང་གི་འོག་ལུ་སྒོམ་རྐྱབ་སྡོད་མི་དྲང་སོང་འདི་གི་སྦོག་ལོག་ཁ་ལས་རང་འགྱོ་ཕར་ཁ་ཐུ་ཡར་སངོ་ནུག

So, one day the Hunter, who committed a lot of sin and used to survive by hunting. So, one day he hit a deer with an arrow. The deer was hurt. Since the deer was hurt, the deer went in search of shelter. While the deer was searching for a shelter, the deer managed to went infront of the Rishi.

འདི་གི་ཤུལ་བདའ་འདི་ཁྲག་བལྟའི་བལྟའི་འོངམ་ད་ ཤ་རོགས་འདི་དྲང་སོང་འདི་གི་སྦོག་ལོག་ཁ་འོང་འབད་དྲིས་ནུག དྲོང་སོང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ང་གི་བཟའ་ནིའི་དོན་ལུ་རང་ ཤ་བདའ་སྡོདཔ་ཨིན། ང་གི་ཀ་ཤ་འདི་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྦོག་ལོག་ཁ་ལས་རང་ཡར་སོང་ནུག་ ག་ཏེ་ཡར་སོངའི་སླབ་གནང་མས་ཟེར་དྲང་སོང་ལུ་དྲིས་ནུག ཏེ་ཆོས་ནང་ལས་ཤོབ་རྐྱབ་པ་ཅིན་ལས་སྦོམ་ཡོད་ཟེར་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན་མས། ཏེ་ཀ་ཤ་ང་གི་མ་མཐོང་ཟེར་ཕྱོགས་གཞན་ཁ་བཏང་པ་ཅིན་ཤོབ་རྐྱབ་འདི་སྡིག་པ་འོང་ ཏེ་ཀ་ཤ་ཕྱོགས་འནི་ཁ་མཐུགས་འགྱོའི་ཟེར་སླབ་པ་ཁོ་གི་བདའ་འདི་རང་ཀ་ཤ་འདི་བསད་འོང་། ད་གཉིས་ཆ་རང་ལས་འོང་ནི་མས་ ཆོས་དང་རྒྱལ་བ་འོང་ནི་མས།

The Hunter went to search deer carefully flowing the blood clot droped from the deer's body. While searching for a deer, he came across Rishi.

The Hunter questioned Rishi about where's the deer? Rishi replied; "we shouldn't lie because lie is considered as the biggest sin. This is what Dharma says. So If I tell to the Hunter that deer went downward then it becomes a lie. If I tell the truth, the Hunter is going to kill the deer. Thus from both sides the sin is committed.".......

ད་ནང་གནས་སྐབས་བཏོན་གོ་འབད་ ག་དེ་འབད་ནི་ དཔེར་ནང་ཤ་རོགས་ཀྱི་ལས་ཡང་མ་ཕོགཔ་འབད་ ཀ་ཤ་གི་ལས་ཡང་ཁོ་ལུ་མ་ཕོགཔ་འབད་ སླབ་དགོཔ་འབྱུངས་ནུག ཏེ་དེ་ལས་སླབ་དགོཔ་མཐོནམ་ད་ དྲང་སོང་འདི་གི་སླབ་ནུག ད་ཤ་རོགས་པ་ཁྱོད་རང་ནང་ཉན་ གལ་སེ་ཀ་ཤ་འདི་ན་ལས་རང་འོང་འོང་འོང་ང་གི་མིག་ཏོ་གི་མཐོང་མཐོངམ་འོང་། མིག་ཏོ་གི་ཁ་སླབ་མི་ཚུགས་ ཏེ་ང་གི་ཁ་གི་སླབ་ཁ་སླབ་ཚུགས་དེ་འབདཝ་ད་ཁ་གི་མིག་ཏོ་མི་མཐོང་། ད་ཁ་གི་མ་མཐོངམ་པའི་གང་ལས་ བློ་སླབ་མི་འདི་ཁ་ཨིན་ ཏེ་མིག་ཏོ་གི་མཐོང་མཐོངམ་འོང་ དེ་འབདཝ་ད་མིག་ཏོ་དང་ཁ་གི་བློ་སླབ་ནི་མེད།

And now here Rishi has to act smartly. "How shall I do?" said Rishi. He has to look from both side that none of their's sin should fall upon him. Rishi said; "see Hunter! Though your deer might have gone from here. May be I have seen it through my eyes but my eyes cannot speak. My mouth speaks but my mouth cannot see. Though the mouth cannot see, still the mouth is the one to speak. Mouth cannot see, eye might have seen, but mouth and eye cannot talk to eachother.

ད་ཁ་གི་མ་མཐོང་ནི་འདི་གི་ ད་ཀ་ཤ་འདི་ང་གི་མིག་ཏོ་ལུ་དྲིས་ད་ མིག་ཏོ་གི་ལན་སླབ་པ་ཅིན་ཁྱད་མེད་ ཁ་གི་འདི་སླབ་མི་ཚུགས་ ག་ཅི་འབད་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་ ང་གི་ཁ་མི་མཐོངས་ ཟེར་དྲང་སོང་འདི་གི་སླབ་ནུག

So, that's why, since my mouth cannot see, you can ask to my eyes. If my eyes tell the truth, then it's fine. My mouth can't see and that's why my mouth cannot see." This is what Rishi said to Hunter.

དྲང་སོ་འདི་གི་ཤ་རོགས་ལུ་དྲིཝ་དྲིས་ནུག་ ཁྱོད་ག་ཅིག་འབད་བཟའ་དོ་ ཟེརཝ་ད་ ཤ་བདའ་འདི་བཟའི་ཟེར་ནུག ཏེ་བཟའ་ཚང་ཚུ་ག་དེ་འབད་ཡོད་ཟེརཝ་ད་ ང་གི་བཟའ་ཚང་འདི་ལཱ་མ་པ་ལས་འབད་མ་ཚུགས་མི་ཡོད་ཟེར་སླབ་ནུག ཏེ་ག་ཅིག་འབད་ལཱ་འབད་མ་ཚུགས་མོ་ཟེརཝ་ད་ ཨ་ལོ་ལ་ལོ་ཞརཝ་ ཨ་ལོ་ལ་ལོ་རྐངམ་ཞཝ་ ཨ་ལོ་ལ་ལོ་རྣམ་ཅོ་མ་གོ་མི་ཨིན་མས། ཤ་རོགས་འདི་གི་ཨ་ལོ་གསུམ་ཆ་རང་འདི་བཟུམ་ཡོདཔ་མས། དེ་ལས་ཤ་རོགས་འདི་གི་ ང་གི་ཨ་ལོ་འདི་བཟུམ་འབད་ནི་འདི་གི་ ཁོང་ལུ་བཟའ་ནིའི་དོན་ལུ་ཤ་མ་བདའ་བ་ཐབས་ལམ་གཞན་མེད་ཟེར་སླབ་ད་ལུ།

Rishi questioned the Hunter about his family background and about his survival. Do you survuve by hunting? How about your family? The Hunter replied; "my family are not in a condition to work." Again Rishi ask; "why can't they work?" Hunter said; "One of my child is blind, one don't have leg and one of them is deaf." Hunter had three childrens. so, this are my childrens condition. I don't have any source of income, thus my survival depends on hunting.

འདི་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ལས་ཀྱི་འབད་ནི་འདི་གི་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཨ་ལོ་འདི་ཚུ་འདི་བཟུམ་འབད་འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་ཨིན། ད་ལས་ཕར་འདི་བཟུམ་འབད་སེམས་ཅན་འདི་ཚུ་མ་བསད། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སེམས་ཅན་འདི་ཙུ་ལུ་ག་ཏེ་མདའ་རྐྱབ་འདི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཕོག་བཅུ་ ན་ཟུག་རྐྱབ་འདི་བསད་ཅིག་ག་འདི་བཟུམ་འབད་རང་ཁྱོད་རང་གི་ཨ་ལོ་ལུ་ཕོག་ནུག ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཨ་ལོ་མིག་ཏོ་ཞརཝ་འབད་མི་འདི་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སེམས་ཅན་ལུ་ མིག་ཏོ་ཁ་མདའ་རྐྱབ་འདི་བསད་ནུག་ འདི་འབད་ནི་འདི་གི་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཨ་ལོ་ཞརཝ་འབད་སྐྱེས་ནུག

Rishi said; " It is all because of your sin that your childrens were born abnormal. From now onwards you stop killing animals and don't try to repeat it. where ever you hit to an animal's body, your childrens were also affected and that's why they become weak. Your childrens are weak.

It is because you hit to an animal's eye, that's why one of your child is blind.

རྐངམ་ཞཝ་འབད་ཡོད་མི་འདི་ ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སེམས་ཅན་ཚུ་རྐངམ་བཅག་འདི་བསད་བསད་འབད་ནི་འདི་གི་ ཞཝ་འབད་སྐྱེས་ནུག རྣམ་ཅོག་གུ་མདའ་རྐྱབ་འབད་བསད་ནི་འདི་གི་ ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཨ་ལོ་རྣམ་ཅོ་བྱ་རྡུགས་འབད་སྐྱེས་ནུག ད་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་འདི་བཟུམ་གྱི་ལས་ལས་ཐར་ནི་དོན་ལུ་དམ་པའི་ཆོས་འབད་ ཤ་བདའ་ནིའི་ལཱ་བཞགས་ད། ད་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ལྷ་དབང་ཕྱུག་གི་མཛད་གནང་ལྷག་ འབད་བ་ཅིན་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཨ་ལོ་ཚུ་ཡང་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འགྱོ་འོང་། དེ་ལས་ཁྱོད་ལས་ཀྱི་ལཱ་མ་འབད་བ་ཅིན་ལེགས་ཤོམ་འོང་ཟེར་ དྲང་སོང་འདི་གི་སླབ་ནུག

You have hit to an animal's leg and was killed. That's why he is born with no leg and cannot walk. You have hit to an animal's ear and that's why one of your child is born as deaf. Hence in order to repent from you sins, you have to mediate or concentrate on God. Therefore you get rid off you hunting life and bring your children together. Pray to Lord Shiva and your childrens will be better. If you leave your hunting life, you shall be blessed with peace and happiness."This is what Rishi told to the hunter.

ཏེ་ལས་གི་ལཱ་འབད་མི་ཤ་རོགས་འདི་ དྲང་སོང་གི་ལས་ལས་ཐར་པ་བཏང་ད་ནུག འདི་གི་དོན་དག་གཙོ་བོ་རང་ ང་བཅས་རང་ཆོས་ཀྱི་ནང་ལས་བསད་ནི་ཤོབ་རྐྱབ་ནི་ཨརཝ་རྐུ་ནི་ཚུ་མི་བཏུབ་ ཟེར་བའི་སྲུང་ཅིག་འདི་གི་བཏོནམ་ཨིན།

Rishi helped the Hunter to repent from his sins. So, like wise it's said in Dharma that killing, lying, stealing are not allowed and this are the concequences for the bad deeds committed.
