- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདང་ཕུ་་་དང་ཕུ་སྲུང་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས་ལགས། ད་ལྟོ་གཏམ་ དང་ཕུ་སྲུང་སྦེ་ སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས་ལགས། ཨ་རྒས་དང་ ཨང་རྒས་ཅིག་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས་ལགས། ཨང་རྒས་མིག་ཏོ་ཅན་ཅིག་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས་ལགས།Once upon a time there was a story. now it is tell and in the past it was story. There lived a grandfather and grandmother. Grandmother was without eye.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཨ་རྒས་རྣམ་ཅོ་མེད་མི་ཅིག་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས། ཨ་རྒས་འདི་ མིག་ཏོ་ཅན་རྣམ་ཅོ་མེདཔ་ ཨང་རྒས་འདི་ མིག་ཏོ་མེདཔ་ རྣམ་ཅོ་ཅན་ཅིག་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས།Grandfather was without ear. Grandfather have eyes but no ear and grandmother was without eyes but had ears.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་ལས་ རྩེ་རི་རྫམ་པར་འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་མས་ལགས། ཙེ་རེ་བརྫམ་པར་སོང་སྟེ་ ཉི་མ་ཙེ་རེ་རྫམ་རྫམཔ་མས་ལགས། ཙེ་རེ་རྫམ་ཏེ་ ཡུདཔ་ཐེངས་ཅིག་ལས་ ཉི་མ་ར་ཨིན་པས་ཨིན་རྒྱུ་ཉི་མ་རང་།Then went cut the grass in the land under shifting cultivation and they cut the grass whole day. It was during aftenoon while cutting the grass.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangལྕགས་ཐོམ་ཐེག་(ཆག་པ་གཅིག་) ཟོརཝ་ཆག་པ་གཅིག ཀོ་ཏི་ཆག་པ་གཅིག་ གྱི་ཅུ་ཆག་པ་གཅིག་ སྐེམ་པ་ཆག་པ་གཅིག་ ཐོཝ་ཆག་པ་གཅིག་ རོང་ཀེང་ རོང་ཀེང་འབད་བར་འོང་དེས་ཟེར་ལོ་ལགས།A bunch of matel, a bunch of sickle, a bunch of spade, a bunch of knife, a bunch of tongs and a bunch of hammer came.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་ལས་ ཨང་རྒས་ཀྱིས་ མེ་མེ་ག་ཅི་ཨིན་ན་ཅིག་ སྐད་རྐྱབ་དེས་ཟེརཝ་མས་ལོ། ག་ནི་ཡང་འོང་ ཙེ་རེ་རྩ་འགེངས་ཏེ་རྫམ་ད་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས་ ཨང་རྒས་ལུ།Then grandmother said to grandfather that some sound is coming. Grandfather saud there will be nothing, so cut the grass with effort.

- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཐད་རི་བ་རི་ སྐད་རྐྱབ་དེས་ཟེར་ ག་ལྷོད་གུ་ལྷོད་མེད་པར་བྱོག་སྟེ་ མཁྱེན་ནོ་མིག་ཏོ་དང་རྣམ་ཅོ་མེད་པའི་ མི་ང་བཅས་གཉིས་ཟེར་ ད་བཅོམ་མི་ཅིག་འོང་དོ་མས། ཡངན་གསད་པ་འོང་དོ་འདྲས་ཟེར་ བྱོག་བྱོགཔ་མས།Definitly there is something is something and they ran away thinking someone is coming to robber them as two of them were blind and deaf. They ran away thinking that someone may be coming to kill them.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangབྱོག་འགྱོཝ་ད་ ཡར་ལམ་ཁར་ལྷོདཔ་ད་ ཅི་ལིག་པ་གི་ཚང་དང་ཕྱེད་ཕྱེདཔ་མས། ཅིག་ལིག་པ་ཟེར་ བྱ་ཆུང་ཀུ་ཅིག་འོང་སྦ་ ཨ་ནེམ་ཅིག་འབད་མི་ཅིག་ ཅི་ལིག་པ་གི་ཚང་ ཧཱད་ཧོད་བཏང་མེདཔ་བཏང་སྟེ་ བཞག་བཞགཔ་མས་ཏེ་ ཁོང་གཉིས་ཀྱིས།While running away they came across a nest of a chiligpa(small bird). Chiligpa is a small bird and it is this much only. two of them destroyed it.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཧཱད་ཧོད་བཏང་མེདཔ་བཏང་བཞག་ཞིནམ་ན་སོང་སོངམ་མས། ཨཱ་་་ཅི་ལིག་པ་མགྱོགས་པར་མགྱོགས་པར་སོང་ཞིནམ་ལས་ བྱ་དགོ་བོ་གི་རྣམ་ཅོ་གི་ སྦོ་ལོགས་ཁར་སོང་སྟེ་ ཛ་ལི་ཛུ་ལི་ཅོ་ཕཱེད་ཏ་ ཛ་ལི་ཛུ་ལི་ཅོ་ཕཱེད་ཏ་ འབད་བར་སོང་སོངམ་མས།They destroyed the nest and went. Then the small bird with its fastness went near hornbill making a sound.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཨཱ་་་་དེ་ལས་ བྱ་དགོ་བོ་འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་མས་ཏེ་ ཁོ་བྱོག་སོངམ་ད་ ཏེར་ཆ་གི་ རོབ་འབྱེལ་གུ་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས། ཏེར་ཆ་ཟེར་ རོབ་འབྱེལ་གྱིས་སྦེ་བཏགས་བཏགསཔ་ཅིག་ཡོད། ཏེར་ཆ་གི་ རོབ་འབྱེལ་ཆད་འགྱོཝ་ད་ རྡོག་མ་བུད་དེ་ ཀ་ཤ་ཉིམ་བསྲོ་སྟེ་སྡོད་སར་ མར་ས་ཁར།Then the hornbill ran away after seeing the small bird and stayed there on the creeper(རོབ་འབྱེལ) of terchag(ཏེར་ཆ). Creeper(རོབ་འབྱེལ) of terchag(ཏེར་ཆ) fall down where the deer was taking sun bath.

- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་བསྒང་ སྦུལ་སྒྲོམ་རྩིག་སྟེ་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས། སྦུལ་སྒྲོམ་རྩིག་སྟེ་སྡོདཔ་ད་ བླ་མ་མཁྱེན་ནོ་ག་ཅི་བསྣད་པར་འོང་ཡི་ག་ཟེར་ སྦུལ་མགྱོགས་ཡར་སོངཔ་མས་ཏེ་ སྦུལ་མགྱོགས་འགྱོཝ་ད།That time there was a snake was arranging the box. As the snake was arranging the box, she also ran away thinking what is happening and she ran away.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་ལས་ ལེ་ཀོ་སྒོང་རྡོག་ལས་ བྱི་ཅུ་ཁུག་བཅུག་སྟེ་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས། ཚལ་མ་ནང་གི་བྱ། དེ་འབདཝ་ད་ ལེ་ཀོ་གི་སྒོང་རྡོག་འདི་ སྦུལ་གིས་ལྷག་མ་ར་མེདཔ་སྦེ་ བཟའ་བཟའཝ་མས། ག་དེམ་ཅིག་སྡོད་ཡི་ག་ མ་ཤེས་སྡོད་ནི་འདིནི་ ཕུད་རྡོག་དགུ་དང་ བཅུ་ཐམ་དེ་ཅིག་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་འོང་།Then kalij pheasant was sitting on the eggs to bring her chicks. But then snake ate all her eggs. Don't no the exact number of it but may be there was nine to ten eggs.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangལེ་ཀོ་གིས་ སྒོང་རྡོག་ཕུད་རྡོག་བདུན་ལས་མི་བུད། ག་ར་བཟའ་ཚར་ཏེ་འགྱོ་འགྱོཝ་མས། དེ་ལས་ ལེ་ཀོ་འདི་ ག་ཅི་འབདན་ན་ མ་ཤེས་པར་ ཀོ་ཏེ་ཀོ་ཏེ་་་ ངེའི་སྒོང་རྡོག་འདིནི་ སྦུལ་གྱིས་བཟའ་ད་ཡི་ ཀོ་ཏེ་ཀོ་ཏེ་ཟེར་ སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས།kalij pheasant will lay only seven egg. All were eaten and went. Then kalij pheasant didn't knew what to do and stayed there crying ko tay kay ko tay, my egg is eaten by snake ko tay ko tay.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཤིང་གུ་ སྐད་རྐྱབ་སྟེ་སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་མས། དེ་བསྒང་སྒར་པ་གཅིག་འོང་དེས་ལོ་ཕར་ལས་ དབའེ་ག་ཅི་སྦེ་བསྔུཝ་སྨོ? ཨ་ཞེམོ་ལེ་ཀོ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས།Stayed on the tree crying. That time attendant came and asked why you are crying? sister kalij pheasant.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangངེའི་སྒོང་རྡོག་འདིནི་ སྦུལ་གྱིས་བཟའ་ད་ཡི་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། འགྱོ་ཤིག་སྦུལ་འབོ་པ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། སྦུལ་འོང་འོངམ་མས་ལགས། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ རོགས་མོ་གི་ སྒོང་རྡོག་ག་ཅི་སྦེ་ བཟའ་ཡི་དགོ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས།She said my eggs had been eaten by snake. You go and call that snake. Then the shake came. Then ask to snake why did she ate her eggs?
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangང་བཟའ་ནིའི་བང་ཡང་མེད། མི་བཟའ་ནིའི་བང་ཡང་མེད། ང་ར་སྒྲོམ་རྩིག་སྟེ་སྡོདཔ་ད་ ཀ་ཤ་ཨ་པ་འོང་ཞིནམ་ལས་ ངེའི་སྒྲོམ་གུ་བསྣད་བྱིན་ཡི་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། ག་ལོ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། ཀ་ཤ་ཨིན་ཟེར་སླབ་ལས་ ཀ་ཤ་འབོ་བར་བཏང་བཏངམ་མས།I don't have right to eat also. Don't have right to not to eat also. When i was arranging the box, the deer came and he stepped on my box. Who was that? She said it was deer and ask call the deer.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangདེ་ལས་ ཀ་ཤ་འབོ་བར་སོང་སྟེ་ ཤོག་ལོ་སྨ་རེ་ཀ་ཤ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། ཨ་ལྕོ་སྒར་པ་ཡོད་ལོ་ ད་ང་བཅས་ཆ་ཁྱབ་འཛོམས་བསྡུ་ཡོད་ལོ་ཟེར་སླབ་སླབ་མས། དེ་ལས་ འོང་འོངམ་མས་ཀ་ཤ་ ཀ་ཤ་འོང་སྟེ།Then went to call deer and said you are being called. There is brother attendant and he is saying there is meeting for us. Then deer came.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཁྱོད་རོགས་སྒྲོམ་རྩིག་སྟེ་སྡོདཔ་ད་ ག་དེ་སྦེ་བསྣད་པར་འོང་ཡི་དགོ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས་ ང་བསྣད་ནི་གི་ བང་ཡང་མེད་ལགས། མ་བསྣད་ནི་གི་བང་ཡང་མེད་ལགས། ང་ཉིམ་བསྲོ་སྟེ་སྡོདཔ་ད་ ངེའི་གུ་ཏེར་ཆ་བུད་འོང་བའི་ཤུགས་ཀྱིས་ འདྲོག་སྟེ་འོང་ཡི་ལགས་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས།He was asked why did you stepped on her box when she was arranging the box. - པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangའགྱོ་ཤིག་དེ་འབདན་ ཏེར་ཆ་འབོ་པ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས་ ཏེར་ཆ་ཡང་འདུག་ལོ་ད་རུང་ ས་ཁར་རང་ ཤོག་ལོ་མས་ཏེར་ཆ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས་ ཏེར་ཆ་འོང་འོངམ་མས་ཏེ།Then lets go to where terchag falled. Terchag was also there only on the ground. Terchag you are being called.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཏེར་ཆ་ལྷོདཔ་ད་ རོགས་ཁོ་ཉིམ་བསྲོ་སྟེ་སྡོདཔ་ད་ ག་ཅི་སྦེ་བུད་འོང་འོངམ་སྨོ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། ང་འོང་ནིའི་བང་ཡང་མེད་ལགས་ མི་འོང་ནིའི་བང་ཡང་མེད་ལགས། ཡར་ལས་བྱ་དགོ་བོ་འོང་སྟེ་ ངེའི་རོབ་འབྱེལ་གུ་ཆགས་པར་འོང་ཡི་ ངེའི་རོབ་འབྱེལ་གུ་ཆགས་པར་འོངམ་ད་ ང་བུད་དེ་འོང་ནི་དང་ མི་འོང་ནིའི་བང་ཡང་མེད་ལགས་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས།When others are taking sun bath why you have to fall. I don't have right to fall and not to fall also. then said when hornbill came to rest on my creeper a falled, I don't have right to fall and not to fall also.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཁྱོད་ཁོ་གུ་ ག་ཅི་སྦེ་ཆགས་ཆགསཔ་སྨོ་ཟེརཝ་ད་ ང་མ་ཆགས་ནིའི་བང་ཡང་མེད་ ཆགས་ནིའི་བང་ཡང་མེད་ལགས། ང་ཤིང་གུ་སྡོདཔ་ད་ ཅི་ལིག་པ་འོང་ཞིནམ་ལས་ ཛ་ལི་ཛུ་ལི་ ཛ་ལི་ཛུ་ལི་ ཛ་ལི་ཛུ་ལི་ཟེར་བ་འོང་ནུག་ལགས་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས།Why did you stand on him? hornbill said i don't have right to land and not to land. Then the small bird came. Whyy did you went to hornbill making a noise?
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangང་འོང་ནིའི་བང་ཡང་མེད་ལགས་ མི་འོང་ནིའི་བང་ཡང་མེད་ལགས། ང་ཡང་ཚང་ནང་སྒོང་རྡོད་བུད་དེ་སྡོདཔ་ད་ ཨ་རྒས་དང་ཨང་རྒས་ཀྱིས་ ཚང་ཧཱད་ཧོད་བཏང་མེདཔ་བཏང་ཡི་ལགས་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས།I don't have right to come and not to come. When i was laying egg in my nest, grandmother and grandfather came from nowhere and destroyed my nest.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangའགྱོ་ཤིག་ཨ་རྒས་དང་ཨང་རྒས་འབོ་པ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། ཨ་རྒས་དང་ཨང་རྒས་ ཤོག་ལོ་མས་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། ག་ཅི་འབད་བར་ཨིན་ན་ཟེརཝ་ད་ མ་ཤེས་ཨ་ལྕོ་སྒར་པ་དང་གཅིག་ཁར་ འཛོམས་བསྡུ་ཅིག་ཡོད་ལོ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས།Go and call that grandmother and grandftather. Grandmother and Grandfather you are being called. They said for what purpose and one said don't no there is meeting with brother attendant.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཡོད་འཛོམས་ནུག་ ང་བཅས་ཚུནི་ གཅིག་མིན་གཅིག་ལུ་ ཉེས་པ་བཀལ་ར་ བཀལ་ནི་མས་སྨ་རེ་ཟེར་ སླབ་མས་ལོ། དེ་ལས་ མིག་ཏོ་དང་ རྣམ་ཅོ་མེད་མི་ ཨ་རྒས་དང་ ཨང་རྒས་གཉིས་འོང་འོངམ་མས་ མཁརཝ་བཙུགས་ཅི་རང་འོངམ་ད།If we don't go, they will give punishment to one of us. Then the blind and deaf grand parents went with the help of their stick.
- པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཁྱོད་གཉིས་ རོགས་ཅི་ལིག་པ་གིས་ ཚང་ག་ཅི་སྦེ་མེདཔ་བཏང་བཏངམ་སྨོ་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས། ང་བཀོག་ནི་བང་ཡང་མེད་ལགས་ མི་བཀོག་ནིའི་བང་ཡང་མེད་ལགས། ང་ཙེ་རེ་རྫམ་ཏེ་སྡོདཔ་ད་ ལྕགས་ཐོམ་ཐེག་(ཆག་པ་གཅིག་) ཟོརཝ་ཆག་པ་གཅིག་ གྱི་ཅུ་ཆག་པ་གཅིག་ ཀོ་ཏི་ཆག་པ་གཅིག་ སྐེམ་པ་ཆག་པ་གཅིག་ ཐོ་བ་ཆག་པ་གཅིག་ རོང་ཀེང་ རོང་ཀེང་ཟེར་བ་འོང་ནུག་ལགས་ཟེར་ སླབ་སླབ་མས།Why did two of you destroyed that small bird's nest? - པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangཤོག་ལོ་མས་ཨ་ལྕོ་སྦལཔ་ ཁྱོད་ཨིན་པས་མེན་ན་ ང་བཅས་གཉིས་འདྲོག་བཅུག་མི་འདི་ཟེར་སླབ་སྟེ་ དེ་ལས་ འོང་འོངམ་མས་སྦལཔ་འདི་ དེ་བསྒང་ ཁོ་གིས་ ག་ནི་ཡང་སླབ་མི་བཏུབ་པས་ལོ། ཁོ་ཉེས་པ་ཕོགཔ་ཨིན་པས་ཏེ་ དེ་ལས་ མར་བཙིར་ནིའི་ཤིང་གིས་སྦེ་ ཨེབ་བཏང་བཏངམ་མས་ཏེ་ སྦལཔ་དེ་གིས་ མིག་ཏོ་བརྒྱངས་ཏེ་སྡོད་མས་ལོ་ ཁ་ལས་ག་ནི་ཡང་མ་སླབ་པར།Two of them said to frog you are being called as you frighted two of us. - པདྨ་ཚེ་དབང་ Pema Tshewangའ་ནཱི་འབད་ནི་དེ་གིས་ སྦལཔ་འདི་ལེབ་ཏག་ཏ་ཡོད་མི་འདི་ དེ་ལས་བརྟེན་ཏེ་ཨིན་ལོ་ལགས། འ་ནེམ་ཅིག་རང་ཨིན་ལགས། དང་ཕུའི་སྲུང་ ད་རེས་ཀྱི་གཏམ་ཟེར་ བྱ་ཀང་ཁུ་ལ་གི་མཇུག་མ་ཕྱེད་ཀ་བཟའ་ ཕྱེད་ཀ་མ་བཟའ་ཟེར།This is the reason for why frog is flat.
