Ambika Mahat from Dolongang narrates a story. Once there lived a mother, son and daughter-in-law. The mother and daughter-in-law used to quarrel all the time, so the son discussed with his wife to kill the mother to ease the quarrel. They agreed and started giving the mother food mixed with poisonous leaves. The daughter-in-law acted polite to the mother, and the mother returned the kindness. After discovering love and affection within the family, the son and his wife decided to give the mother food mixed with herbal leaves to combat the poison. The family lived happily ever after.
