Now I am going to talk on religious matter, about a Pandit and a Lama and about their mantras. I am going to talk about it now.

ད་ང་གི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྐོར་ལས་དང་པན་ཌིད་དང་བླམ་ཅིག་གི་སྐོར་ལས་སླབ་ནི་ཨིན། ད་ཁོང་གི་ག་མཐུན་འདི་ཚུ་ག་དེ་འབད་འདུག་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་ད་ང་གི་སླབ་ནི་ཨིན།

Lama thought himself the most powerful, where as the pandit thought it was he.

One day they had a competition. Lama said; "Let's see how much mantra you have?" Let me have a look at your mantra, let's both of us have a look who knows the more mantras.

བླ་མ་བླ་མ་གི་ང་རང་ར་སྦོམ་ཨིན་ པན་ཌིད་པན་ཌིད་་གི་ང་རང་ར་སྦོམ་ཨིན། ཉི་མ་གཅིག་ཁོང་གཉིས་འགྲན་བསྡུར་འབད་ནི་འབད་ནུག དེ་ལས་བླམ་གི་ཁྱོད་ལུ་ནུས་པ་ག་དེམ་ཅིག་འདུག་ག་བལྟ་གེ་ ང་བཅས་གཉིས་ག་གི་ནུས་པ་ག་དྲག་ག་བལྟ་གེ་ཟེར་སླབ་ནུག

Brahmin's are usually very proudy and pandit said; "Ok let's have a look."

Ok let's go first with cleaniness. Brahmin went to the near by tape and took bath. He made himself clean and started to perform puja.

པན་ཌིད་བྲམ་ཟེར་འདི་ཨ་ཅི་ཅིག་སྦོམ་བཟོ་སྡོད་ནི་འདི་གི་ སླབ་ནུག་ད་བལྟ་གེ་ཟེར་ཏེ་ཟེར། ད་ང་བཅས་ཧི་སང་ས་འབད་སྡོད་ནི་འབད་གེ་ཟེར་ནུག ཏེ་བྲམ་ཟེ་འདི་གཟུགས་ཆུ་ཁྱུ་འབད་མཐུན་བཏང་ནི་དགོ་བཙུགས་ནུག

Lama said; " Is this all you are suppose to do?" Pandit said; "Yes only this much. I am clean now and I have started to do puja."

དེ་ལས་བླ་མ་འདི་གི་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་དེ་ཅིག་རང་ཨིན་ན་ཟེར་ནུག ད་ང་གི་དེ་ཅིག་རང་ཨིན་ ང་ཧིང་སངས་ས་བཟོ་འདི་མཐུན་བཏང་ནི་འབད་དོ་ཟེར་ནུག

Then Pandit said; "Now it's your turn. Let's see how you can do."

Lama said; "Ok, I am ready now." What Lama did was.. What Brahmin did was.. he cleaned himself. What Lama did was.. It was Lama's turn. By his mantra he took out iinterstine, stomach, lungs, heart and everything were cleaned and showed to Pandit.

ད་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྐོར་རྒྱབ་ཨིན་ བླ་མ་ད་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ག་ཅིག་ཡོད་ད་ཁྱོད་རང་འབད་ད་ཟེར་ནུག དེ་འབདན་བཏུབ་ཟེར་ང་སྒོ་བཙུགས་གེ་ཟེར་ནུག ད་བླམ་འདི་ ཏེ་བྲམ་ཟེ་འདི་གི་ཕྱི་ཁ་ཅམ་ཅིག་ཧིང་སངས་ས་བཟོ་འབད་སྡོད་ནུག བླམ་འདི་གི་ག་ཅི་འབད་ནུག་ཟེར་བ་ཅིན་ མཐུན་བཏང་འབད་ཕོ་ཝ་དང་མཇུག་མ་ག་རང་ཕྱི་ཁ་བཏོན་འབད་ཧིང་སངས་ས་བཟོ་བཏོན་བྱིན་ནུག

Lama said; "what is the difference between you and me?"

What ever you have eaten is still inside your stomach. All rubbish are still inside you, But mine everything were cleaned.

དེ་ལས་བླམ་འདི་གི་ད་ཁྱོད་དང་ང་ཁྱད་པར་ག་དེ་འབད་འདུག་ཟེར་སླབ་ནུག ཏེ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་འདི་བཟའ་བཟའ་བའི་མི་གཙང་མ་ཚུ་ག་རང་ནང་ན་འདུག ཏེ་ང་གི་འདི་ག་རང་ཧིང་སངས་ས་བཟོ་ཡོད་ཟེར་ནུག ཏེ་བླམ་འདི་གི་རྒྱལ་ཁ་འཐོབ་ཚད་ནུག་ཟེར་བའི་ དཔེ་གཏམ་རེ་ཧེ་མ་གོའི།

So, through this we can say that Lama has won. This was what I heard in proverbs.

It is becaues in Dharma is not about being big/small. Dharma should be taken positively. Being religious or by practicing dharma and by helping the poor, such people will go a long way. This is what we understand.
