People tend to underestimate the weak, overlooking the skills they possess. In this video, Jeermo from Dzamlingzor in Tsirang tells a story about a powerful tiger and a cunning fox. The tiger may be superior in terms of physical strength, but he ends up dying at the end of the story due to the fox’s ruse. Even though they are friends, the tiger decides to eat the poor fox. This forces the fox to come up with a strategy. The fox goes near a beehive with a stick, and pretends to poke the hive. The tiger asks what he is doing, and the fox tells the tiger that the beehive contains honey, and he is waiting for it to get warmed up. The tiger takes the stick and pokes the beehive. As a result, he is stung to death.

- ཇེར་མོ:སྟག་ ཏེ་སྟག་གཅིག་དང་ འ་དོམ་གཅིག་ དང་ཕུ་ཆ་རོགས་འབད་སྡོད་ཅི་ཟེར་ཨིན་པས་ལགས། ཆ་རོགས་གནམ་མེད་ས་མེད་ འཆམ་ཏོག་ཏོ་སྦེ་ སྡོད་ཅི་ཟེར་ཨིན་པས་ལགས། ཏེ་འ་ནཱེ་སྦེ་སྡོད་དེ་ ཏེ་ཉིནམ་ཅིག་འབདཝ་ད་ སྟག་གིས་ འ་དོམ་དེ་ བཟའ་ནི་བཟའ་ནི་ཟེར་ མདའ་འགྱོ་བའིཟེར་མས་ལགས། དེ་ལས་ འ་དོམ་དེ་ སྟག་གིས་ བཟའ་ནི་མས་མནོ་སྟེ་ གནས་སྐབས་བཏོན་ནུག།Jeermo This is a story of a Fox and a Tiger who were friends back then. They were very close to eachother but one day the Tiger tried to eat the fox and chased him down. So the fox made a plan against the tiger.
- ཇེར་མོ Jeermoཏེ་འ་དོམ་དེ་ བྱོག་སྟེ་ གཡིབ་སྡོད་སྦེ་ དེའི་ནངས་པར་ ཉིནམ་ཕོགཔ་རནམ་ཅིག་ ཁརཝ་ཅིག་འབག་སྦེ་ གསེར་སྦྱང་མའི་ཚང་གུ་གསོབ་དོ་བཟུམ་སྦེ་ སྡོདཔ་ད་ སྟག་གི་མཐོང་སྟེ་ སྟག་གིས་ འ་དོམ་ཁྱོད་ག་ཅི་འབདཝ་ཟེར་འདྲི་དྲིཝ་མས། འ་དོམ་གིས་ཨ་ནཱ་ཁརཝ་གསོབ་ད་ སྦྱང་གི་སྦྲང་རྩི་ཐོནམ་ཨིན། སྦྲང་རྩི་བཟའ་ནི་སྦེ་ སྡོད་སྡོདཔ་ཨིན་ཟེར་ སླབ་ནུགThe fox made off and hid himself in a place. The next day before the sun rise the fox went near a beehives with a stick and pretended to poke the beehives. The tiger saw what the fox was doing and asked what he was doing. so the fox told the tiger that if you poke the beehives you will get plenty of honey. he also told the tiger that he was there to eat the honey.
- ཇེར་མོ Jeermoདེ་ལས་ སྟག་གིས་ ཁརཝ་ནང་འབག་ཤོག། ང་གིས་ཡང་ བཟའ་བལྟ་གེ་ཟེར་སླབ་ད་ འ་དོམ་གིས་ ཁརཝ་ཡང་བྱིན་སྦེ་ ཡར་སོང་བའི་ལོ། དེ་ལས་ ཉིམ་ཤརཝ་ཅིག་ སྟག་གིས་ཁརཝ་གསོབ་བཏངམ་ཅིག་ སྦྲང་རྩི་ཐོབ་ནི་མེན་པར་ གསེར་སྦྱངམ་གིས་ རྡུང་རྐྱབ་བཏང་ད་ནུག། དེ་ལས་ སྟག་དེ་རྩིགཔ་བཟའ་སྟེ་ ཁོ་བཟའ་ར་བཟའ་ནི་ཟེར་ བདའ་འགྱོཝ་ད།The Tiger told the Fox to hand over the stick to him and also told him that he will try eating some honey. The Fox did what he was asked to do. when the sun started rising, the Tiger poked the beehives with the stick and ended up being stung by the bees. The Tiger got so frustrated that he chased the Fox again saying that he will eat him for sure this time.
- ཇེར་མོ Jeermoའ་དོམ་དེ་ ཆུ་རྫིང་ནང་ མཇུག་མ་བཙུགས་སྦེ་སྡོད་ནུག་ལོ། དེ་ལས་ སྟག་གིས་ འ་དོམ་ཁྱོད་ང་ལུ་ཤོབ་ དེ་ཚུན་ཚོད་རྐྱབ་ ད་རེས་འབདན་ ཁྱོད་བཟའ་ར་བཟའ་ནི་ཟེར་ མི་བཞག་ཟེར་ སླབ་ནུག། ད་རུང་ སྟག་གིས་ ཁྱོད་མཇུག་མ་ ཆུ་ནང་བཙུགས་ད་ག་ཅིག་ཐོབ་ཟེར་འདྲི་ནུག།The Fox was sitting near a water pound dipping his tail in there. When the Tiger reached near the water pound he told the Fox that he will eat him for lying. Seeing the Fox, the Tiger again asked the Fox why he was dipping his tail in the water?
- ཇེར་མོ Jeermoནངས་པ་ཆུ་ཚོད་དགུ་དེ་ཅིག་ཁར་ ཡར་ལོངམ་ད་ ཉ་ཚད་མེདཔ་ཅིག་ཐོན་འོང་ནི་ཡོད་ཟེར་ སླབ་ནུག། ཏེ་ཉ་ཐོབ་ཟེར་ སླབ་ལས་སྟག་དེ་ མཇུག་མ་ནང་ན་བཙུགས་སྦེ་སྡོད་ད་ནུག། དེ་ལས་ འ་དོམ་དེ་ ཡར་སོང་ནུག། དེའི་ནངས་པར་ ཡར་ལོངམ་ད་ ཁོ་གི་མཇུག་མ་འདི འཁྱེག་གིསབསྡམས་ཏེ་ ཡར་ལོང་མ་ཚུགས་པར་ ཏེ་ཤུགས་སྦེ་ལོངམ་ད་ སྟག་གི་མཇུག་མ་སྤག་ཀོ་ བཤུབ་ཡར་སོང་ནུག།"Tomorrow around 9;00 clock in the morning when you stand, there would be plenty of fishes around." said the Fox. So the Tiger did the same thing like the Fox. he dipped his tail in the morning and in that process the fox escaped again. The next day when the Tiger was about to stand up, his tail was freezed and it was stuck in the ice (as the water has turned into an ice). When he forcefully stood up, his skin (of the tail) got pealed off.
- ཇེར་མོ Jeermoདེ་ལས་ སྟག་དེ་རྩིགཔ་བཟའ་སྟེ་ འ་དོམ་བཟའ་ར་བཟའ་ནི་ཟེར་འགྱོཝ་ད་ འ་དོམ་དེ་ ད་རུང་ཡང་ རོབ་བྱི་གུ་ལས་ རྩེདམོ་རྩེ་སྦེ་སྡོད་ནུག་ལོ། དབའེ་འ་དོམ་ ཁྱོད་ཤོབ་རྐྱབ་སྟེ་ ང་མཇུག་མ་ག་ར་འཁྱེག་གིས་ རྨ་བཏོན་དའི་ཟེར་རུང་ རྩེདམོ་རྩེ་སྟེ་ར་སྡོད་ནུག། ཏེ་སྟག་གིས་ ཁྱོད་འདི་ཁར་རྩེདམ་རྩེཝ་ད་ ག་ཅིག་ཐོབ་ཟེར་འདྲི་ནུག། ནང་ལས་མར་ རྒྱ་གར་མཐོང་ཟེར་ སླབ་ནུག་འ་དོམ་གྱིས།Again in frustration he went in search of the Fox and on the way he found the fox playing with creeper. The tiger explained about his tail's condition to the Fox but the Fox was busy hanging and playing on a creeper. The Tiger asked what he will benefit from playing with the creeper and the Fox said that we can see India from here.
- ཇེར་མོ Jeermoདེ་འབདན་ ང་གིས་ཡང་ རྩེ་གེ་ཟེར་ སླབ་ནུག་ གོ་ལེ་སྦེ་རྩེ་ནི་འགོ་བཙུགས་ནུག། ཀཱ་ལས་ ག་ནི་ཡང་མི་མཐོང་མས་ཟེར་སླབ་ད་ ཤུགས་་སྦེ་ རྩེཝ་ད་མཐོང་ཟེར་ ཤུགས་སྦེ་འབདཝ་ད་ རོབ་བྱི་ཐབ་ཆད་དེ་ཡར་སོང་ནུག། འ་ནཱི་གི་ དོན་དག་འདི་རང་གཟུགས་སྦོམ་ཡོད་ཟེར་ རོགས་ཆུང་ཀུ་ བང་མ་བཙོང་ཟེར་བའི་ ལོ་རྒྱུས་མས།ཐAnd again in excitement and frustration the Tiger got fooled by the Fox. While the Tiger was playing and hanging on the creeper. the creeper got cut in between and the Tiger ended up dying. One may be superior in terms of strength but that doesn't give them the right to dominant the inferior ones.
