Gopal Kafley from Nyizergang in Tsirang Dzongkhag (district) narrates a story of a father fox living with his wife and children in the jungle. The female fox tells her husband that he needs to go searching for some meat during the Dassin festival, and so the father fox went to steal some chicken. The moment he reached the chicken coop, a dog started barking the fox ran away in fear. The fox fell into a pot where yarn was dyed. His whole body turned green. Later the fox became a leader of a group of other foxes after they saw the color of his skin. The fox ordered his comrades to steal chicken, which he and his wife and children consumed. Over time his skin color started fading. The other foxes began to doubt him and he was beaten and chased away. The story conveys the message that one shouldn't be bad and immoral.

Once wife or female fox told him that the time for Dassain have came and they need some meat to eat during that celebration. Therefore, she asked him to go to certain village to bring meat and chicken for them. For this reason, the fox went to one village and to one home to steal chicken. The moment he reached where chickens are housed, dog started barking and due to fear he ran away. There, people living in this house, have dipped the plant to dye thread in pot and as he ran, he got into this pot. Fearing to the barking of the dog, the fox continued to run away with himself having turned his skin color green. And upon back to home, even his wife and children fled in fear upon seeing him in green color.

And even other fox started running away from him. Then he ran after them and asked not to flee but wait. Then he revealed his name and stopped the group of other fox. After having stopped, all stared at him because of the unusualness of his green color and asked his details. And this fox answered, “as you all have no leader and I am being appointed as your leader and been sent here. Therefore all of you must obey me and must do according to my directives.”

He along his wife and children ate chickens that commanded to bring and they stayed like this. One day, on Dassain, after all of them ate meat and all, it was time to howl. In time of howling, he howled as same as other fox and also due to fleeting time, even his green color started fading. And after knowing him as ordinary fox, he was being beaten and was chased away to some other place.

One should always walk the ordinary path and has to adopt uniformity with other. The immorality will result this.
