Storytelling in Bhutan normally begins with the words "Dangpoo Dingphu" or "Hema Hema" to indicate it is an older story, much like "Once upon a Time." The story narrated here by Kudrung from Chema in Trashiyangtse is about a boy who never works and relies on his old parents to survive. One day both of his parents died, and the boy found himself immersed in numerous problems. Under pressure from his neighbors, he leaves his village to get grain seeds at faraway village.  On the way back as night approached he took shelter for the night in a cowshed. After hanging the sack of his grains over his head on the celling of the cowshed, he started to daydream, planning what he would do with this sack of grains. The story conveys a message regarding the danger of wasting time with planning and never acting.
