Azha Dotey from Choongkha village sings “Thangla Dewa Pemai Thang” (The Spacious Lotus Ground), a boedra song. The lyrics talk about the glorious land that is shaped like a lotus. When Chinese princess Azhi Jaza made her journey to Tibet, she found a Tsa Ku Sha plant growing on the way. When Zhapdrung Ngakwang Namgyel arrived Bhutan, offering a tea to him. The following line of the song explains about the first offering of tea, was offer to the root teacher to receive blessing and merits from him.  The second offering was made to the leader to receive the power of speech. The third offering was made to father to gain wealth and comforts from him. However this song was sung in their village since very old times.
