Chonga Lham and Pema Zangmo of Chungkha village in Bongo Gewog (county) in Chukha district, sing an old Boedra song called "Tashi Laso Lungpi Phulay" (On the Valley of an Auspicious Dwelling). The song is an auspicious one and is usually performed towards the end of any special occasion, celebration and gathering because the lyrics speak of meeting again soon and doing so in good health. The song compares the favorable nature of such an occasion to jewels such as gold, silver and bronze. While singing this song towards the end of a ceremony, people simultaneously pray silently in their thoughts. It is usually performed in a circular formation and it includes almost all of the participants to the occasion as it is marked as the final song.
