Rinchen from Bongo Gewog (county) in Chukha district, sings an old Boedra song called "Shawa Gang Lay Bab Tsey" (When the Reindeer Walks Down the Hill). This is one of the sentimental Boedra songs which are performed or sung by Bhutanese people when they feel the blues. The lyrics of the song describe a reindeer coming down to pastoral lands and then suffering from a lack of proper grass and water. Such sad songs are not performed on auspicious occasions, the people only sing them during casual gatherings or their leisure time. The composer and origin of the song are unknown.
