Video Overview
Chonga Lham and her friends from Chung village in Bongo Gewog (county) in Chukha district, perform an old Boedra song called "Om Sala Mani". It is a religious song comprised of auspicious chants. Since it is one of the Boedra songs, it is performed in a circular formation as can be seen in the clip, with around five to twenty dancers. A person will lead the song and the rest have to follow her after she completes a line. This kind of song, with a main singer who is followed by the rest, is known as Keydho. It can be performed in any kind of occasion, celebration and gathering.
