The song "Omley Sangrayla" is a popular song in Bhutan, beginning with the title chorus but the song mainly consist of verses taken from another song called "Gungtey Jayang Zomsa" (May One Hundred Skies Meet). Though the song can be used during any occasion or event, when looking at the lyrics one can see it should be sung during a meeting or departure. The verses say that ordinary people can meet each other at any time, but the meeting of parents is a rare occasion. It uses metaphors in pairs to express this: the sky and the sun, mountains and lions, reindeer and meadows.
