Sangay Dorji of Ketokha village, in Bongo Gewog (county) in Chukha district, sings an old local song comprising of auspicious lyrics, giving praise and inviting the local village deity to attend whichever occasion is taking place there. The song is performed only during special occasions, celebrations and gatherings as the song remembers the local deity and is like a song offering to her. The song is respected by the villagers and they consider it as a prayer. It is not known in other parts of the country and is only performed in Ketokha village.
