Rinchen from Ketokha village, in Bongo Gewog (county) of Chukha district, sings an old Zhungdra (Bhutanese classical) song called "Ling Sho La" (Come and Fly). The song is said to be composed by the 6th Dalai Lama Tsheyang Jamtsho at the end of the thirteenth century. It supposedly originated in Tibet and was later sung by Bhutanese people as well. The song is about Labja Ghom, the divine bird and the bird's mountainous residence. It is a beautiful song that is performed on any kind of special occasion, gathering and celebration. The song can be performed with around five to twenty dancers in a circular formation.
