The song "Gungtey Jayang Dzomsho" (May One Hundred Skies Meet) is a popular Boedra song usually performed during leisure times. Though the song can be used during any occasion or event, when looking at the lyrics one can see it should be sung during a meeting or departure. The verses say that ordinary people can meet each other at any time, but the meeting of parents is a rare occasion. It uses metaphors in pairs to express this: the sky and the sun, mountains and lions, reindeer and meadows.
