Video Overview
Rinchen from Kethoka village, in Bongo Gewog (county) in Chukha district, sings an old Boedra song called "Chumola Lingcha Lingmey" (The Uncountable Flow of the River). It is an auspicious song that describes hundreds and thousands of rivers, saints, butter lamps and altars. It is performed in any kind of special occasion, celebration and gathering. The song can be performed with around five to twenty dancers in a circular formation with different steps as per the change of the verses and the lyrics. The origin and the main composer of the song are unknown.
