Karpola from Kethoka village, in Bongo Gewog (county) in Chukha district, sings a local song called "Chumo Dang Jachu Rabdra Way" (The River and the Indian River Seem Alike). The song contains sad lyrics, it tells about a man being betrayed by his wife and him being chased away from his house like a stray dog. As the song is a sad one, it is not performed in auspicious celebrations, gatherings and occasions. It is not even performed with dance steps but is only sung during leisure times or when people are working in the field. Alternatively, it is sung when people go through a similar situation, to ease the mind. The composer and the origin of this particular song are unknown.
