Video Overview
Sangay Dorji of Bongo Gewog sings an old bodra song called "Aumla Kha Kha" (The Lady Kha Kha). This song encourages people to open up and showcase their talent. Sangay ends the song with two Bhutanese proverbs: "Other's words can't speak on your behalf" and "No matter how bad your voice is, you should speak nonetheless". These proverbs are related to the lyrics of the song, which employs examples to encourage the listeners to speak up when the opportunity presents itself. Such encouraging songs are performed on a variety of occasions, celebrations and gatherings. They are performed in a circular formation by around five to twenty dancers.
ཆུ་ཁ་རྫོང་ཁག་ སྦོང་སྒོར་རྒེད་འོག་ནང་ལས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱིས་ བོད་སྒྲའི་གླུ་གཞས་ ཨམ་ལ་ཁ་ཁ་བཟང་མོ་ཟེར་མི་ཅིག་འཐེན་ཏེ་འདུག གླུ་གཞས་འདི་གིས་ མི་ཚུ་ཁོང་རའི་ལྕོགས་གྲུབ་སྟོན་ནི་ལུ་སེམས་ཤུགས་བསྐྱེད་བཅུགཔ་ཨིན་མས། གླུ་གཞས་འདི་ནང་ སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱིས་ རང་གིས་མནོ་མི་འདི་ གཞན་གིས་སླབ་ནི་མེན་པར་ རང་གིས་མནོ་མི་འདི་རང་གིས་རང་སླབ་དགོ་ ཟེར་བའི་ཐོག་ལས་མཇུག་བསྡུཝ་ཨིན་མས། དཔེ་བཀོད་དེ་ཡོད་པའི་གླུ་གཞས་འདི་གིས་ ཉན་མི་ཚུ་གོ་སྐབས་འཐོབ་ད་ལུ་ གོ་སྐབས་ལེན་ནིའི་དོན་ལུ་བརྩོན་ཤུགས་བསྐྱེད་བཅུག་དོ་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན་མས། དེ་བཟུམ་མའི་སེམས་ཤུགས་བསྐྱེད་བཅུག་པའི་གླུ་གཞས་འདི་ དུས་སྟོན་དང་དགའ་སྟོན་ག་ཅི་བཟུམ་ནང་ཡང་འཐེན་ནི་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན། གླུ་གཞས་འདི་ མི་གྲངས་ལྔ་ལས་ ཁལ་གཅིག་དེ་ཅིག་གིས་སྒོར་སྒོརམ་འབད་ཁྲབ་ཨིན།
- སངས་རྒྱས་རྡོ་རྗེ Sangay Dorjiཨམ་ལ་ཁ་ཁ་བཟང་མ་འགྱུར་བའི་བག་ཆགས་ཡོད་ལ་ནི་བག་ཆགས་ཀྱིས།། ཁྲོམ་ལ་མི་ཁྲིམ་འཛོམས་ས་ལ་ནི་འགྱུར་དགོ་འབད་ལ་ནི་འགྱུར་དགོ་བ།། ཁྲོམ་ལ་མི་ཁྲིམ་འཛོམས་ས་ལ་ནི་མ་འགྱུར།། སྟེང་དུ་ཁོག་པའི་ཧིང་དུ་ལ་ནི་རྒྱས་པ་རྒྱས་ལ་ནི་རྒྱས་པ་ཆེ།།The dances of Aum Kha Kha must be performed to the public. And it would disappear within herself if she didn't perform it.
- སངས་རྒྱས་རྡོ་རྗེ Sangay Dorjiརྒྱས་པ་ན་འཕངས་ག་མི་འཕངས་ག་མི་འཕངས་ལ་ནི་འདྲི་སོང་།། རྒྱས་ལ་ནི་འདྲི་སོང་ཅིག། ཕར་ལ་ཨ་ད་བཟངམ་མ་ལ་ནི་དྲི་སོང་།།ཨམ་ལ་ཨ་ད་བཟང་མ་ལ་ནི་དྲི་སོང་།། ཨམ་ལ་ཨ་ད་བཟངམ་མོས་ཐག་པའི་དམར་ཁྲ་རྒྱས་ལ་ནི་དམར་ཁྲ་གིས།། ཁྲོམ་ལ་མི་ཁྲིམ་འཛོམས་ས་ལ་ནི་འགྱོན་དགོ་རྒྱས་ལ་ནི་མ་འགྱོན་ཅིག། སྟེང་དུ་ཟམ་མའི་སྟེང་དུ་ལ་ནི་རྒས་པ་རྒས་ལ་ནི་རྒས་པ་འཕངས།།Consult to Aum Ada Zangmo wether this could be regretable or not. And the cloth woven by Aum Ada Zam must be worn in the public. If the cloth is not worn in the public than it become old.

The cloth of Kisho woven by Aum Dungtsho Zam must be worn in the middle of the public and it will get old if the cloth is not worn in public.
- སངས་རྒྱས་རྡོ་རྗེ Sangay Dorjiཁྲོམ་ལ་མི་ཁྲིམ་འཛོམས་ས་ལ་ནི་མ་འགྱོན་རྒས་ལ་ནི་མ་རྒས་པ་འཕངས།། སྟེང་དུ་གཟར་ཤིང་སྟེང་དུ་ལ་ནི་རྒས་པ་རྒས་ལ་ནི་རྒས་པ་འཕངས།། རྒས་པ་ན་འཕངས་ག་མི་འཕངས་ལ་ནི་དྲི་སོང་།། མགར་པ་ལྗངས་ཀ་སྦལ་པ་བརྡུངས་པའི་ལ་ནི་ཆ་ཤས་འདི་ལ་ནི་ཆ་ཤས་འདི།། སྟེང་དུ་གཟེར་ཤིང་སྟེང་དུ་ལ་ནི་རྒས་པ་འདི་ལ་ནི་རྒས་པ་འཕངས།།The cloth of Kisho woven by Aum Dungtsho Zam must be worn in the middle of the public and it will get old if the cloth is not worn in the pulic. The sword made by Jangkha is getting old on the sword hanger.
- སངས་རྒྱས་རྡོ་རྗེ Sangay Dorji:ཁྲོམ་ལ་མི་ཁྲིམ་འཛོམས་ས་ལ་ནི་མ་བཏགསན་རྒས་ལ་ནི་རྒས་པ་འཕངས།། མགར་པ་ལྗངས་ཀ་སྦལ་པ་བརྡུངས་པའི་རྒྱ་གླིང་།། ཁྲོམ་ལ་མི་ཁྲོམ་འཛོམས་ས་ལ་ནི་འཕུ་དགོ་རྒས་ལ་ནི་འཕུ་དགོ་རྒས་པ།། ཁྲོམ་ལ་མི་ཁྲོམ་འཛོམས་ས་ལ་ནི་མ་འཕུ་རྒས་ལ་ནི་མ་འཕུ་ཅིག། སྟེང་དུ་གཟེར་ཤིང་སྟེང་དུ་ལ་ནི་རྒས་པ་འདི་ལ་ནི་རྒས་པ་འཕངས།། ལགས་སོ།།If the sword is not worn in the middle of the public. It would become old if the sword is not worn to the public.

We must speak out whatever we know there is a saying the 'The old words of others won't help us.' The instruments like the piwang [lute], lim [flute] and the dranyen [guitar] are played how much our hands could perform it.
