Ugyen Lhamo sings “The Sky Clear of Clouds,” a song of praise for the Samye Temple in Tibet, and the Punakha Dzong and the Lhodrak Kharchu Monastery in Bhutan. This song refers to past practices of pilgrimage in Bhutan. A clear sky brings happiness, a sunset brings joy. The building of Samye Temple also brings happiness, and the presence of the Buddha there, absolute joy. Happiness and joy are also expressed in relation to the Punakha Dzong, Zhabdrung, Lhodrak Kharchu, Lama Namkhai Nyingpo and so forth. The final lines convey the wish that, having visited those places once, one would be able to go back many more times.
